Can you hold control and mousewheel scroll down and see if it zooms out? click on the little window message first, just looks zoomed in to me.
  2. Been enjoying the videos so far mate, interested to see how you get on and what happens with the car!
  3. I read somewhere they were discontinued so I didn't even try Toyota directly, it's worked out to be around £10 through amayama
  4. Great thanks, have just ordered one off amayama so should be here in a few weeks.
  5. So I was hoping to change out my current steering wheel for one of these style wheels: I have a 94 JDM RZ TT, is this going to be a straight swap or do I need anything additional? I read somewhere about needing a harness or can it still be fitted without one?
  6. Are you living in the UK? If you are, you can correct this on the vehicle registration document (V5 certificate) and post it back to the DVLA to get it updated. I'm not sure how this works in other countries though im afraid, no idea how it could affect the value.
  7. Need to do this myself, where did you get them from for that price?
  8. Could be a good idea, the squealing is usually a giveaway that its knackered though but atleast the tippex will give you a sort of early warning if the lines go out before you hear any noises. Think mine had done nearly 100k miles and had never been changed looking at the paperwork when it decided to go, so if they got it changed for another new OEM pulley you should probably expect it to last a long long time. I ended up with a FEBEST pulley for about 60 quid (was a bit strapped for cash at the time and needed it sorted urgent) compared to the 200 quid+ toyota ones and its been fine so far but only done about 15k miles in comparison, I would always go for the OEM one personally if i need to change it again in future.
  9. Draw a line in tippex as straight as you can across the face of the pulley, if the line stays as straight as you painted it after running the car then you know the pulley hasnt separated, the smaller face section of the pulley (where the belt goes round) can separate from the main plate. Had my crank pulley go on the way home once and smash through the undertray, the smaller face had separated and flew off and made this awful squealing noise. Managed to get it home and changed it outside the house but it was a PITA to get the bolt off as the torque is insane. You'd want to get the crank pulley changed before it completely separates as it can make a mess in the engine bay if it completely separates whilst driving, I was lucky that it only hit the undertray but it split it clean in half almost.
  10. Welcome If you're referring to Chris Wilson for the FCD then the best way to get hold of him is via e-mail / phone - [email protected] / 07971-952084 I'm sure he wont mind me giving his contact info out as it's in his forum signature
  11. Saw this listing on eBay earlier mate if it helps at all, the red is top and bottom on the wheel rather than on the sides though: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264883691326
  12. Pete if you like a bit of sea fishing the docks down SA1 are good for whiting at this time of year. Also recommend Bosherton Lily Ponds if you're after Pike, bit of a trek down Pembroke but it's an all dayer!
  13. Hi fellas, I have zero clue so hoping to tap into some of your knowledge! I noticed earlier when stopped at some traffic lights on an uphill incline that my water temp gauge was rising, nearly to max. When I moved off, it dropped right back down and sat at the middle. I continued on with my journey for a good 15 miles with it stuck at the middle as it normally should be and didn't notice anything again for the rest of the night, the rest of my journey involved uphill, downhill, flats, twistys (wales!) and seemed ok. Any ideas what could've caused this? It's also started to flash the central warning light on the dash under braking only which then disappears again under any form of acceleration (dunno if related - read it could be time for a brake fluid flush and change?) Any help much appreciated. Jordan
  14. It's a trap in the sense that they do very little to promote road safety which is what I assumed their intended purpose was. In my opinion the only thing they contribute to is government revenue. Take the fixed cameras in my local area, good chance if you live local you know exactly where every (or the majority) camera is so you know where you need to slow down for 20 metres (just so you can accelerate away again) and where you don't. They are there to catch people out, slow doesn't always mean safe. Of course the offence needs to be punished so no argument there really, if you're caught then you're caught, my issue is more with the purpose of the fixed style cameras in the first place especially since the introduction of average speed check cameras (granted these cant be used everywhere) I have a full clean licence btw and have never been done for speeding so no past resentments with the gov/plod on my part, just my opinion! Fully agree re: ANPR though!
  15. Might cash in and throw mine out in the US for $50k next year, must be someone out there with more money than sense?? It's only a 94 JDM Auto TT, stock apart from a stubby aerial! I can use the money to get a nice 6spd then
  16. The classic government money traps! Fingers crossed mate.
  17. Do you want to go fast (TT) very fast (BPU TT) or take your wig off fast? (Single) I have an auto so no comment about the 6spd, auto makes me too lazy for that now
  18. Looks lovely mate, shame you have to sell! GLWS!
  19. Love a 34, looks nice What caused her to be stuck in 3rd and the non-starting then?
