So anyone know? What are the stock body skirts made of? Metal? If it's just the actual skirt rusting then surely I could just replace the skirt?

If she's admitted to reversing down a main road then she's lost, happened to me. There is no onus on you to also reverse when she does as you're expecting traffic to be moving forwards at the lights not backwards. They're just dragging out the inevitable IMO

Hello! So I bought my 94 TT jspec back in August which had some cosmetic damage to the passenger side where it was hit by a motocross bike (prior to my purchase) Basically looks like the front of the bike when straight into the side, scratching the skirt and denting the rear quarter (just above the arch) I've noticed (with all the wet weather) that the scratch has started to rust. Would it be better to try and replace the skirt as I was looking at OEM skirts anyway? Or do the OEM skirts just kinda slide over the existing skirt? I fear that the rust might be a bit more spread as the plastic lining on the underside of the skirt isn't quite flush and it looks as if water could be held in there. I'll try and get a picture after work as I don't have the supe with me today. There's also a small amount on the rim of rear wheel arch where the paint has flaked off, I'm assuming this is also as a result of the collision. Bodyshop job?? HELP!!

I have dials from MoMan.pl Haven't fitted them yet but they were good to deal with, even emailed me to confirm a few details before they made them up for me!

If she admits to her own insurer that she was reversing down a main road then you'll win hands down, a few years ago I (foolishly) reversed when the car infront of me has started reversing and bumped a jag at about 5mph, as soon as I admitted I'd been reversing down a main road, it was my fault :/

cheap ebay kit with digital ballasts will do the job for the HIDs Lights are just a google job, you can get them directly from Toyota or look on the Parts for Sale section here.

Depends on your stats really, age, ncb, postcode etc I'm 25 with 2 years NCB, 8 years overall claim free driving exp, my stock TT auto cost me £720 a year to insure (although this is my first year of ownership) and that was arranged through adrian flux. Sky insurance wouldnt touch me until I had experience driving a RWD car so told me to come back after 1 year. Good luck, its a minefield!

Hi guys, Hoping someone can help me out as to what this could be. I noticed this earlier after driving to work and I have noticed it before after getting out of the car at home. It sounds like liquid dripping somewhere, I've checked under the car for oil etc and cant find anything, checked in the bay for any signs and nothing. It's like I stop, turn the engine off, get out and I can hear liquid dripping somewhere, it's not REALLY loud but I can hear it after stopping. Also, the car is smoking like crazy in this cold weather, if i'm parked up somewhere with the engine running, the amount of white smoke coming from the exhaust is like im trying to gas someone! I haven't noticed any ill effects as a result of either of these, any ideas?? It's a 94 TT Auto, done about 90k (mixed KM and miles), had a major service from Whifbitz in September.
