  1. Mine's always been fine, just a PITA resetting the cd player and clock -_-
  2. I suppose that way it will always be one of a kind!! Shame though.
  3. How did that come about? What's your artist name??
  4. I had it on PS3 and now have it on PS4, really not sure about buying a 3rd copy at full price, they've basically had £150 out of me for 1 game!!
  5. Funny you should mention this as when I took her for an MOT in September last year, I had a funny feeling the guy in the garage had just sat in on ramps and opened the doors to give off the impression he'd done something with it. Either that or he didn't know himself!!
  6. Christ I don't even know where my battery clamp etc is, battery is just loose atm which is not good but doesn't seem to move really. I would like a battery that's going to be a direct fit!
  7. I can get trade discount from Halfords, a mate used to work there and is still friendly with all the current staff at my local branch, would you go for a new Yuasa or a new Halfords? I'm thinking Halfords just for the guarantee but the Yuasa has been fine until winter.
  8. Been fine over winters too?? I should've mentioned the supra is my daily at the moment so its used in all conditions!
  9. Hello! Could anyone recommend a good car battery for the supra? I've currently got a Yuasa in there but I think the cold weather has killed it because it only seems to hold a charge for about 3 days. I've used a booster pack to start it previously. Went to get in this morning and turned the key just to hear click click click click click Any good batteries anyone can recommend? On an unrelated note, how common is it for the bulbs behind the clock faces in the dash to need replacing? My speedo from 30 to about 80mph is no longer backlit and the rev counter from about 5k - 8k rpm is no longer backlit either! All the other lights (and sections of the RPM/speedo cluster) seem to be working fine, sometimes have to give the temp a little tap with the knuckle to get it to light up, same for the auto shifter light but the other sections are beyond tapping!
  10. Would also like to know this, passenger side is much slower to go up and can hear it struggling, driver side is fine! How much for a new motor roughly??
  11. Hello gents, Quite a straightforward question compared to what you may usually get in here! Am I right in thinking the rear light cluster needs to come out to change the brake light bulb? Can't see any obvious way of getting behind it otherwise... Thanks, J
  12. I set my value to what I paid for the car as its completely stock so either way i get my cash back, will change when i start modding! Premium was 700 for the year, 25, 2years ncb, 5k limited mileage. Did have the tracker option if i wanted but not for me!
  13. Im with flux and have agreed value, just had to send them a few pictures of the car and give them my valuation which they accepted.
  14. Hi guys, I've read online that the rear brake light bulb is a 1157? Is this the centre light? I'm looking for a passenger side rear brake light bulb, anyone know the code? Halfrauds are suggesting 380. Cheers, Jordan
  15. They are very well built, just be mindful that they're still 20ish years old now but mine still runs brilliantly. I had a comment from a chap in work the other day because I pulled into a parking space and got out and left the engine running and he was amazed at how quiet it was, he thought I'd turned the engine off until I came back a few seconds later, jumped straight in and drove off! I'd always fancied a supra or a skyline but the rusting issues kinda put me off the skyline, a mate has an r32 gtr and its pretty much a rust bucket, perfect from the outside but if you look underneath the chassis is pretty much rotten
  16. Yes mate, I agree. I bought mine privately and took it down to Whifbitz to have a major service and going over which gave me more peace of mind than a warranty would. Only problem I've had with mine since August 2014 is the negative battery terminal clamp popped off, put it back on and re-tightened and its been fine since, been using mine as a daily!
  17. If its the car i'm thinking of then I think it's owned by Paul's brother?? It's pretty well looked after anyway!
  18. I promised myself the day I bought mine after wanting one for years that I'll have it till the day I die (or one of my kids will have it when the time comes (if I ever have kids!)) I've also always fancied an r33 gtr skyline so I think I'm going to try my ass off to save for a skyline, then the supra and skyline will both be garaged and i'll have a cheap runaround That's my plan!!
  19. Good to know he's still active, only ever heard good things about Steve, will be ordering from them soon!
  20. Sorry you can chuck me onto this list also!!
  21. Thanks. It's not so much the dent that worries me, just don't want to find out I've bought a rotter otherwise i'll have to go down the shell swap route! There's a place that does classic restorations not far from me and some of their work looks really good, might just take it in to them and let them get on with it! http://www.njrestorations.co.uk/
  22. Yeah I'll get a picture up of the damage later for people to get a good look at, just a bit confused as to what would be coming through as a rust patch if they are plastic? Unless its previously been filled?
