  2. If you don't take it, I'd be interested
  3. Mine has a leak and tie rod ends have a lot of play, think that's what is causing the knocking noise when turning, so if anyone has one. Hit me up! I'm in the London/Slough area Cheers
  4. Its the second line up from 0, TRD tach
  5. My idle use to be around 700, but I just took it for a test and it sits around 200! I was scared it would cut out so kept firm on the clutch but once back on my drive, I let it run and it was fine. Is 200 okay or too low?
  6. Set of plastic j spec lights with black inserts £100
  7. any news on this? Still looking to purchase the trial rear
  8. I'll take the mirrors if anyone can shed some light if they'll fit? Jspec na 93
  9. So the loom after the door, you don't have? You've only got before the door. Looks pretty long! Does that loom also control the mirror as well or just the folding mechanism? Anyone have any clue how to install these! Really want them but have no clue where they plug in.
  10. That would be awesome! Does it need an ecu as well? Obviously, wires, mirrors, switch, anything else?
  11. Extremely interested in the mirrors, wanna retrofit them to my supra, but I'd need to get the wiring and switch... can the mirror still be moved electronically? I know the glass isn't heated.
  12. makes sense mate, this supra has been all over the shop
  13. Anyone know what this plug is for? Passes from the driver's side to the passengers across the centre dash. Car is a jspec pre facelift na
  14. Still no movement, maybe the seller is away? I might start looking elsewhere
  15. My rack has a leak and there's a knocking noise when turning, lots of movement in the rods so may as well change it! Its a jspec na pre facelift of that makes any difference Thanks guys

    spare tyre

yeah also, an RAC call out guy was saying if you don't have a spare wheel they won't help, because you haven't taken proper care of your vehicle, although newer cars come without tyres as standard to reduce weight, they have a universal tyre to fit all, I rang up the RAC and they said as long as you have the tyre foam it should be okay and they will help, although when I read the terms and conditions, any costs incurred for NOT having a spare wheel will not be covered by RAC, a little confusing so I'm not sure what to do. I would have thought having breakdown cover should cover you regardless of whether you have a spare or not, they can take you to the nearest garage, but you're right about timings and location, don't wanna be stuck!
  17. I'm thinking how much of a difference half an inch will make...

    spare tyre

do people buy spare tyres? Thinking of removing mine for weight and also to place a sub in the back and have more room in the boot.

    fat tyres

Yeah I thought so but wasn't too sure, thanks a lot. What about clearance from the tyre wall and the arch? Is that dictated by the tyre width? I thought that would be to do with the tyre wall and the suspension, because I'm thinking if you go over a bump, and the tyre is too close to the arch and the suspension is too soft it will hit the arch? So my question is how do you prevent that or calculate that? Appreciate your help, new to the engineering world (physiotherapist (student) by trade)
