  1. Welcome mate.. good luck with build.. lots of work ahead, I know cos Im doing the same.. will be worth it in the end!
  2. Just my 2p... Personally I think the way some people have reacted regarding this question is disgusting... I am a supra noob in the process of a build and will be learning as I go. Judging by the response received here I am hesitant to ask technical questions in the future now. That said, is one of the reasons I am on here! This was suppose to be a place of knowledge and assistance with support from members.. regardless of how much someone knows. Rather ask a question and be safe than make an error. I understand the concern for the build however THE QUESTION WAS ASKED... no need to get personal & ugly! I am sure any other uncertainties would have been asked at the same time.
  3. Received mine thank you! Included a sticker which I dont think I paid for.. let me know if there is a cost??
  4. Got to work again on engine bay today, sanding nearly completed.. only the awkward spots I need to do by hand still. Started prepping the larger holes at the front for filling so can seal them up next time. Going to have to pull the engine bay loom out so I can work on the rear holes. This will be tucked anyhow. Also started stripping the heater matrix out so I close up the hole for AC pipes. Hopefully get all this smoothing done next gap I get. Finished cleaning underside of car today first.. hadn't dried when I left as was too cold so that will be ready for some paint next time too.. then the underside of the car is completed. Decided on replacing the NS front wing rather than repairing the current one as well as having the OS rear wing dent paintless removed.. I will be filling the bodywork holes from aerial and wiper etc myself so there will be no bodywork while it's in for paint. Sneaky pic of the wings off in it's current state...
  5. Quick update.. got the fuel tank cover off.. in the bin. Cleaned up rear underside and a touch of paint.. looks mint.... Finished cleaning the front end too and starting to look like something is actually happening now Also started the engine bay smoothing.. quite a job but I must say I'm very excited to what it looks like when its done. Filled all the small holes today, big ones will have to wait for another day. Filler will be nice and set next time so I can start sanding too...
  6. Cheers for that.. think il just go the extra length and place them in the cabin. Solves a world of problems later.
  7. Good idea, There is a thread with london members so may take advantage of that! Cheers
  8. Agreed, I wasnt planning on going there purely for that reason. Seems to be the headlight as an option too but the water issue is still a concern. In two minds about where to place it. If tucking the loom under the wings I suppose the most sensible is to place the relays etc along with it I suppose. I will pm hodge and see where he has placed his as a reference.
  9. Cheers mate thanks for the help. Makes the world of difference. Had a look at hodges too so should be good to go now. Is there no concern of getting the electics wet fitting them under the wing?
  10. Thats great thanks guys, anything helps at the moment. Abs and ac being deleted yes. Going TT non vvti. Will be relocating the box and battery and binning the charcoal cannister. No stock airbox either. Regarding the relays and ignitors is it better to relocate them to inside the cabin?
  11. Hi guys, I know this may not be an easy one to explain but can anyone help me with advice as to what holes I can close up for the engine bay wiretuck smooth over. Being a new supra owner and not having a motor in when car arrived does affect my knowledge regarding this and therefore only am aware of fuze box, battery and loom holes.. nothing else was available to check what goes where. Cheers.
  12. Another day off resulted in battle of the arches... got the front done and look really good too. Before and After images. Also had a go at the front subframe etc and looks a million times better.. not quite as clean as Id like it to be though so will be having round two next time along with under the car.
  13. Finished cleaning rear arches today.. had min time so will get stuck into front and underside (including subframes) next time I got a day off. Rear arches came out super.. really happy. After new suspension and brakes it will look perfect. Also sprayed the arch liners.. look mint!
  14. Love this one... bar the interior. Styling is perfect! Just works.
  15. Yeah I realised that after posting... will source replacement for it and do while stripping to replace bushes. Thanks mate!
  16. Cheers mate... Alot more work than what meets the eye.. and the more I dig the more I discover haha. Will get there though.
  17. Test fitted skirts and bumper.. have to say that they are pretty decent and not much adjusting at all to be done which is fantastic.. although I dont have headlights in it all seemed to line up pretty good!! Also managed the first stint on cleaning up the rear arches.. look 100 times better already. Will give it round two and then some paint.. also want to replace all bushes and boots. Did find a hole from rust though.. under the fuel tank which im not too happy about but heading to bodyshop soon so they can sort it then.
  18. Goodies arrived for the car this am... I feel like a kid at christmas! Will be heading down to garage later to see how they fit and start cleaning underside...
  19. Archenemy working their magic today.. glad the weather turned out ok and big thanks to them for working on a Sunday!! Go wide baby!!
