now i have membership i have decided to actually sit down and start a project thread rather than filling up my new member one. i recently bought a 1993 supra 2JZ-GE import as a project car (24/5/2014) it looks a little unloved, but going to give it a really good service, a good clean and made into a track toy, i have helped build a Robin Hood Zero with a 2.0 zetec engine so i know something to a point supra : prior to viewing this made it from London back to Selby with no issues !!! and drove perfect except for a hole in exhaust, but couldn't complain so first thing first was out with the sub build to begin stripping car my mates being mates being how they are came to view my purchase and mock for spotting the oil filter hoped they wouldn't notice the old halfords logo from like 5 years ago !!! so a good service is needed, ordered oil filter (not halfords brand lol) new spark plus, cleaning kit for air filter, just oil to get next. the car had a new radiator fitted, but since the oil filter was crap i thought i'd double check the radiator and it was near enough empty !!! so thats filled up and sorted car came with a HKS Silent exhaust system and apexi air filter and pipe

i'm going as long as no more pipes go bang :/ but the miss's has my ticket booked already

i would but my water pump has finally given in : so while engine in bits i shall be doing new belts etc

i have owned a supra for just over a week, so yesterday i thought i'd take wheels off and check everything out (pads, disc and springs etc) on taking the rear drivers wheel off , one nut was a struggle to get off as it had been cross threaded :/ i'm ordering new wheel nuts anyway but where can i get the hub bolts from? or are they just normal car bolts?

when ever guys there is one in 2 weeks time i think i saw at squires? but meet for a meet any time

stereo, nothing atm, it's sat on side chilling and tow hook is mounted to the car tow hook i'd get one for the front but don't wanna cut the bumper if you need a picture of tow hook mounting point i happy to get one for you
