  1. Eh it's the internet, you shouldn't really take things people say to you on here too seriously. Post a silly thread get silly comments, if it gets to you you can always walk away from the computer or admit you're being a bit dumb.
  2. Most of the actual comments I get on it are from kids, mostly beeps and thumb ups from adults but none have approached me yet. I feel like people around here don't really like approaching strangers.

    Plasti-dip

I did some wheels with it, I think I did about 6 coats. You have to do a lot of coats and prepare the surface well to get a properly even and strong paintjob. They haven't peeled yet, I've been using them for a few thousand miles. I also tried an off-brand one from Halfords which didn't give as smooth a finish but hasn't peeled yet either.
  4. Love this thing What are the height/width/length of it?
  5. They have different style VINs too don't they? So you could stick all the UK things on an import and vice versa but it'll still be an import on the VIN. Could be wrong
  6. The paint is peeling off the spoiler too. 3k worth of car? Maybe, but the paint might be expensive.

    Hi Everyone :)

Hello and welcome. My NA 5spd is the fastest car I've driven so it feels good to me. It makes a nice noise and handles well, as ripped_fear said it's great fun despite being the slow option. No regrets for me.
  8. Open to offers as I'm not really sure what these are worth. Bump.
  9. Nice shiny car you got there. I like the photos.
  10. I might be up for some fronts if we do a group buy.
  11. I got one from number1plates.com, it's 178x330mm and overlaps the hole by a few mm on each side. I don't think it's big enough to get any grip from tape alone, but I mounted it by the screw holes.
  12. I'd assume W58 since it's an NA and is only £1000.
  13. Not overnight because they'll get stuck in customs clearance for a week like all my international orders do.
  14. I'm considering getting a set too at some point, I will be interested in seeing how they turn out.
  15. I bought some of this from Halfrauds a few weeks ago but haven't got around to using it yet. Did you bother with the sandpaper they include or is this just with the polish and drill attachment?
  16. I think of her as a tool. "You don't get any boy racers in a Fiat 500". She's never heard of the 500 Abarth then. I see far more people driving hatchbacks like imbeciles than I do nice cars.
  17. Hi guys, I'm selling my front bumper undertray due to putting an active spoiler on instead. Two of the screw holes are broken and it has some scuffs on the lower parts but it should go on fine. This is from a facelift Supra, I believe pre-facelifts have a slightly different screw pattern at the front. Looking for £30, collection only from Hertford area as it's far too big and flimsy to post. Thanks Sold.
  18. I think the history aspect is cool, with the monarchy going back over 1000 years. I don't really care about the latest royal babies or whatever but it's a nice tradition to have when so many countries have done away with theirs.
  19. This is the best colour they came in IMO, I'm sure it'll be great when you're done tidying it up.
  20. Yeah I genuinely do like them. Maybe I'm just weird.
  21. Oo that is a very nice colour. I will be looking forward to more pics
  22. NA MX5s are cool. More cars should have popup headlights.
  23. Looks very nice I'm with you on bodykits but done well they can look quite nice.
  24. That giant spoiler would be going if it was mine . It looks like a tidy enough car overall though, especially if it has leather front seats. It's a shame there aren't any interior pictures in the advert.
  25. Spooky. It doesn't sound like thunder to me so I'd go with gunfire or fireworks too.
