  1. Great, thanks for your help. This might help you with the Soarer arms, I found it when I was trying to google for this question. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension-and-brakes/507695-lower-ball-joint-on-an-sc400-2.html#post5891415
  2. I might need to replace these for my MOT. What's the difference between facelift & prefacelift arms? Will one fit the other car? Are facelift ones made out of gold? Ty for any advice. https://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/toyota-oem-parts/suspension-parts/toyota-871.html https://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/toyota-oem-parts/suspension-parts/toyota-1009.html
  3. I'd be interested if it's in good condition and the mileage can be verified.
  4. Yep here it is, it goes into the stereo (or OEM amplifier if you have the fancy audio option).
  5. >RAD №1 - 20A - Radio cassette tape player According to google.
  6. Could it be something that would be improved with a headlight restoration kit? I just did my Supra's lights a couple of weeks ago because I couldn't see anything at night.
  7. Yes that's the way I did it too. I found it tricky to get the boot to seat properly in the piston ring.
  8. That's convenient, I'm in Royston. I have fronts and rears if you want both, the fronts are functional and the rears are a bit sticky but obviously this doesn't matter so much if you're refurbing them.
  9. Where are you located? I have an unrefurbed set but don't really have time to post.
  10. I think it's a decent idea for the PCV hose on the outer side of the throttle body at least, all that crap in the idle control port and around the butterfly is no good in the long term like you said.
  11. I too enjoy some twisty roads and I find the NA is fun, but feels sluggish below 4-5000 RPM. Above that in 2nd and 3rd gear is great though. I'm engine swapping mine for a V8 so I can have a bit more torque in the low end, I think that'll be a good balance for both motorway cruising and b-roads without being so powerful as to put myself into the undergrowth. With the amount of speed cameras and traffic here I don't care about pure straight line speed as much. There are many many cars better for b-roads than a Supra. But none of them are Supras.
  12. The roads are very slippery this week and mine's already covered in road dirt. Garaging over winter is a good idea, if you have a garage.
  13. You could try unplugging the plug on the power steering rack for the speed adaptive power steering if you don't like the feel of it at lower speeds. I much prefer it to be a bit heavier.
  14. I used to do these as a kid too. Always used to get glue fingerprints all over the glass on my airplanes.

Proper job, looks like you've been quite thorough. I'll have to make a thread when I finish mine.
  16. I wish there was a rule against off topic spam in for sale threads.
  17. I must say your original V8 swap thread has been a big help to me and I'm sure this one will be too (in a few years).
  18. That'll be useful I was wondering how to do the RPM meter. Thanks for the info.
