[/img] Car looks good with the bonnet up, but when down...not very good, starts to reflect it's age! So the next upgrade is a front end conversion to give it the aggressive look it deserves. A real game changer - E63 Front conversion with a carbon lip She's now home sweet home. But a totally different looking animal to the one I first picked up. Sadly now SOLD I know it may sound like a a daft question, but which car would you choose> in terms of 1) Looks - The 740i or the E55? The AMG replaced my BMW 740i (Which I owned for 7 years) I was hoping to add a dinan supercharger to the 7 series, so it would keep up with beasts of todays cars, but after a while I ditched the plans & sold it & went and bought this monster below. But in their own ways they have their pros & cons. For e.g. the smooth drive on the 7 & overall feel is something modern cars today lack. Meanwhile, the pick up on the supercharged V8 is something else! Amazing power and the roar is something that gets you smiling every day.

This is how the Merc looked when I bought it off a dude back in December. <!--url{0}--></p><p> </p><p> Car is totally stock apart from them wheels which tbh did not suit the car.</p><p> </p><p> <img src= She arrives home & I still can't tolerate those wheels [/sHOCK] So I soon head off to the Garage to replace them. Plate transferred Supra lurking in the background Rear Air suspension has gone, will need replacing [sHOCK] /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif Rear lip added to give it that sporty look Quite bored of these wheels as it still imo doesn't look like a real AMG. So I get rid of the grandpa (CLS) wheels & purchase a set of 19" Forgestar F14s (can only get them imported from US) She's all clean & sparkling away, much happier now. The Supra gets a plastidip in white. The stock AMG exhausts are silencers & so they soon have to be replaced with Eisenmanns. Will sound much better! Eisenmanns are on & sound mint but also look better. Carbon rear diffuser added now that the exhausts are upgraded.

I guess I was one of the last ones to use the voucher code. I purchased at exactly 10:44pm to be precise & discount worked. It must have stopped working at exactly 11pm.

Just to add, I heard the Taxis/Black Cabs in the UK will no longer be allowed to run on diesel in 2/3 years time. LPG for the future?

I've actually owned six 7 series to date, you could call me addicted lol but I & my younger bro love the e38's ever since the 007 movie 'Tomorrow never dies' & The Transporter movie were released - (Just wish I owned that many Supras ) Started life with a silver 728i (straight 6) non sport, it ran smooth (as most do) but lacked the performance so it was later sold. I then purchased a Blue 740i, in which I kept for 7 years with many upgrades along the way until I recently sold last Xmas (see signature). Imo the best looking 7er I've owned. Also owned a silver 735i V8, which was well maintained from previous owners & probably was the smoothest to drive with only 75k on the clock. I sold it to get a taste of the Daddy! So I went & bought a Green BMW 750IL 5.4 V12..., but was later SOLD when the opportunity to buy a BMW 750I (SWB) V12 Individual came along. So I'm currently left with two 7ers. Partly why the Black one has to go is because of the lack of space & it's just not practical owning two gas guzzlers. Would love to own the Alpina 6-litre B12 7 series one day..., but they are rare as hens teeth with only 1 of 6 made in the UK, but that would really make it 7/7 in my ownership of 7ers! #IcingOnTheCake It's with regret that this Black beauty has to go, but it's time for a change. Possible part exchange considered eBay ad below. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-740I-2000-Sport-Black-e38-7-Series-Low-Mileage-Xenon-Alpina-m5-x5-P-X-/321869550460?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Mate, I was judgmental about the 'Autos' (as everyone seems to be) & how wrong was I. LOL 1 year later I've gone and bought a TT Auto & trust me it's fun, especially the kick downs. As many would say on this forum, you have to have a feel for both to see which one is for you & take it from there. You may just surprise yourself (as I did)

Due to no boost>? Good luck on your search for a Supra TT.

found Single Turbo VVTI 6sp Aero super widebody
Supra2jze replied to Ibrar Jabbar's topic in Supra Classifieds
Lovely car, was showing this beauty to a mate last week as he was after a widebody himself (a black one which was going on auction in Denmark) When he saw yours he had second thoughts & pulled out of the bidding. May just tell him that this one is now up for sale! But if your willing to sell that plate..., I'll take that off ya ) -
Deffo keep it for your Son, as long as your finances are in check then I see no other reason why you should need to sell it on. A Supra deserves to be kept in the family. Not many cars designed 21 years ago are still this popular in this day & age, a bit like a Concorde where it still looks great. Either way, if your Son doesn't like it in the years to come, he would come out with £$, so it's a win-win.

North West Meet at Trafford Centre today - 8pm - Japfest
Supra2jze replied to Supra2jze's topic in England - North West
It's all good. I'll make sure I attend the next meet after what I saw today. Seen some nice Supras, I think around 12 showed up. Quite a few from Huddersfield dropped down. It was also nice to put name to faces, Supra UFO, the two brothers that came along (Dave) & sorry forgot the other brothers name, but one with a Red UK Auto & a silver J-Spec TT. Ps UFO's Supra really stands out, love the colour & great combo with the wheels. Sham from Stockport also needs to join this forum, his white Supra 6 speed TT sounded nuts with the Nur-spec exhaust (Will upload a vid & pics soon) -
Looks great, imagine them 2 driving together at night with neon lights "What the hell is going on around here? Street's closed, pizza boy. Find another way home. Goddamn street racers"

[quotehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r8r52DDOhA I've lost count the amount of times I've watched this video. But must admit everything about this from colour to the sound on this is superb. QUOTE] So after hearing the recent stories on the Supra from Denmark. Who actually owns KDW's Supra, is it still running? I love this Supra.

Yup that's correct. Safety has improved in those 21 years, but as we all know Motorsport is dangerous. He was a talented driver & was heading for Ferrari by the sounds of it http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/33594859 RIP Jules

So it's a repeat of last years final! Come on Rogerrr !
-
Well errm, didn't see that one coming. Another blow for Nadal, knocked out in the 2nd round. Hats off to Brown.

HAHA I agree! But when you have someone like Federer in the opposing corner, doing what he does best with his magic..., then you tend to forget Moody Murray http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/33371909

Big Tennis fan here. I'm a huge fan of Federer, it would be nice for him to win his 18th Slam at Wimbledon. I think it'll be a repeat of last years final but something tells me Wawrinka will be the man to watch out for. Who do you think will win this years Wimbledon?

[[/img]ATTACH]202671 I plastidipped mine in white. Tbh the whole process was quite straightforward. Did this in the Drive last month, over two days. The longest part was prepping when masking it down & removing the odd insect off the car. I would advise you to take advantage of the weather. Supposed to be good this week. 33° on Wednesday. Get spraying /wrapping

I for one hate glasses, as a kid didn't like them (Too Geeky) & basically never wore them. My twin on the other hand wore them at an early age & now doesn't have to wear them Now at the age of 21 I've decided I need to wear glasses or risk causing damage on the road. I've recently took on lenses but would prefer to have Laser Eye Surgery, just not sure how safe it is... As for the OP it sounds great what you have in mind. Opticians deffo lack a wide range of Frames.
