BMW will always discount massively, part of the reason why BMW cars depreciate so badly and this too has a knock on affect with the used BMW market. I like BMW's but never known a company to knock so much off. Audi on the other hand whole their value so much better.

Thanks to Ian & Jackie for organising. Was a good turnout, I was surprised to see so many Supras. Nice to finally put name to faces. Sheefa wherever you are I have a good vid of you leaving the event, loved the set up on your car Was nice meeting everyone -
Hate to be that guy... but as Rider has said that will take some time to sell at that price. I sold my 18" Gold BBS LMs with a polished lip for £1500 with good tyres all round. I remember buying them off Craig off FB a few years ago (Swampy442 on the forum) for slightly less then what I sold them for & they were in good condition.

I advertised on eBay & on this forum. The guy who bought my car messaged me off eBay, we have been whatsapping for just under 2 months. The hold up was the lack of space & funds. SOLD the car blind, he just paid for Autoshippers to come collect. Spoke to the chap, he has already ordered new interior trims, suspensions & subframes so he's looking to strip quite a bit to make it look all new again. He's also putting a V160 Getrag gearbox, something I wanted to do but didn't have the time or money to justify doing the conversion.

Thanks Yes but then I had a trader advertise it on my behalf. As many of you would agree, a car of this type needs more info - such as history, what's been done to it etc etc Then you have what traders typically do in ads which is write a very brief description with generic spec of the vehicle which is no good. Now I've decided I actually want to sell it so have made a private listing. Yup I changed my mind last summer & now it needs to go sadly. The valve stem seals have been done, as have the heater matrix. Konis are just damping. So much paperwork with this car I need to update the AD and haven't had time due to work... Hence the late replies, sorry. Thanks, I've had a guy come view it last weekend he was happy with the car, test drove it etc But then he wanted it for pennies - he offered me £16.5k to which I politely turned down as I've already had 2 traders offer me 16k. Currently in talks about a potential export to the US & one dude from Poland also seems keen.

94 Toyota Supra UK SPEC Twin Turbo AUTO Very sad to be wrting this and something I know I will regret but after 4 years of owning this beauty the time has come for it to go to a new home. I had this car on for sale briefly last summer but I changed my mind and car has been kept in dry storage ever since. However, due to a change in career sadly the time has now come for it to go to a new home. I have put roughly 4k miles since I've owned the car. I've been to both Japfests last year & car drove spot on. The previous keeper was a lady owner who owned the car for 10 years and the car was kept stock in her possession apart from the HKS exhaust, dampers & wheels. Car is a UK Spec but since I went for a body kit I decided to delete the active spoiler & headlight washers. However, ALL THE EXTRAS THAT COME WITH A UK SPEC SUPRA INC - FULL LEATHER INTERIOR, ELECTRIC SEATS, HEATED SEATS, CRUISE CONTROL, ANTHRACITE HEADLINING, BIGGER BRAKES, STEEL TURBOS still remain. During my ownership, I have had the car professionally resprayed (glass out respray) this was because their was blemishes to the paint and with it being a 25 year old car I felt it needed a fresh look. So I resprayed her in the original Storm Blue (Paint code 752) Bodykit Trial rear bumper with a black diffuser, RMM front lip & Ridox Side Skirts. Day time running lights (purchased from Lee@ SRD) Privacy Glass ICE Front Number Plate flipper installed with a switch inside the car for it to go up & down Upgraded Pioneer speakers & tweeters, with a 1000 Watt AMP fitted under the Drivers seat Black carpet fitted instead of beige fitted to go with the recently refurbed Ivory Beige heated seats (Looks amazing) Reverse camera fitted Sony Double Din Headunit with Bluetooth Clifford 5.1 Arrow Alarm Turbo Timer Mechanical Car is stock apart from the following modifications, FMIC, HKS Exhaust, Double Decat, & HKS Induction Kit Double Decat purchased from Tim @ TB Developments Forgestar F14 Alloy Wheels (Imported from the USA) £1,500 Good Tread All Round running Pirelli P Zeros & Conti Sport Work/Service Oil service, fuel filter, air filter, new plugs changed less than 1,000 miles ago. Fuel lines have been replaced (Original parts from Toyota used) New front discs & pads fitted last month New Alternator & Battery fitted recently Koni Dampers New Fuel Tank Cover Car has been under sealed 3 keys with 2 fobs Service History CAR COMES WITH FULL SERVICE HISTORY - Paperwork from 2000! inc All MOT'S Please Note: Rear LED lights aren't included in the sale (Original UK Spec tail lights to go with car) Cons Front lip has a chip (Car does sit low & occasionally scrapes when you come to uneven surfaces such as coming off a slope) Ariel has been deleted but would benefit from a stub just to look more presentable Missing one centre cap Mileage: 173,330 Price £17,995 - Open to sensible offers Private Plate has been removed - Original plate to go back on the car: L915 GYR CAN NOW LEGALLY BE EXPORTED TO THE USA (25 YEARS OLD) Contact 0777 207 00 77 Thanks for looking Oz

I actually spoke to the guy, apparently it had a respray due to acid all over the car. And he said all that wants doing is the front to be rebuilt again with a few parts. But he said he has 10 cars and doesn't have the time to complete it. He kept saying to me its a £35k-40k car once complete lol - with only 3-5k needing to be spent onit. But you have to ask why hasn't he completed it himself if the return is that great (which it's not) sounds a bit fishy ????

Mate your missing out big time. BMW's ARE THE BEST I've owned a few Bimmers in my time & I get YES they can be problemtic - especially an E60 M5 as it needs engine rebuilds and lives most of it's life in a garage (Which is why I haven't got one yet) However, I've owned quite a few Bimmers and the overall quality and design and feedback you get from a Bimmer is a level above any of it's rivals. Especially if we compare the golden generation which I consider to be the e38, e39 & e46 etc they sh*t on the rest of it's rivals from that period. Audi have only become good recently and Mercedes steering feedback I always find too light. BMW E38 7 series were a car that were well ahead of it's time. They are one of the best built cars, comfortable, luxury & effortless to drive with strong build quality. I pretty much had every single model - 728, 735,740 and a handful of 750i and ils totalling 17 in my ownership. Just sold my BMW 750IL Motor Show Car 1 of 3 today. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOLD/323382521346?hash=item4b4b19ae02:g:IMcAAOSwDcZbLm6c Yes they all have common issues such as head gaskets going on the V12's, guides neeed changing on the V8's and all sorts of electrical problems BUT the fact that they drive so good means you will always go back to BMW. I had an e46 M3 manual, which was very reliable and didn't have as many problems as the E38's... but the only off putting thing was they are almost like V-tecs by having to redline to get any sort of decent power. Out of the Bimmers I have owned from the golden gen of the 2000s I'd say the e39 M5 is overall the best car for performance & handling. I also owned the Mercedes E55 WK211 AMG Supercharged which was amazing in the a straight line but not the best on bends (Steering wheel on these cars felt like I was steering a ship) & I even lined them up against each other & I just preferred the E39 M5 every time. 6 speed manual with Eisenmann race exhausts is one that can't simply beaten. I currently own a BMW F30 335D remapped to a healthy 380bhp, lowered with stiffer springs & Michelin Pilot Super Sports and it handles on rails. Such a reliable car, as long as you service these cars with regular oil change etc these cars can go on and on. Transfers box's can go when you mess with the set up and start to put too much strain like my mate has with a wagner intercooler on his 435D. But then every car will go if you drive the way he does - drives his car from from Glasgow to Manchester every other weekend sitting at daft speed, hitting 60 under 3.6 seconds then yes you will eventually have a problem. But when you smoke AMG,s RS3's & even M3's off the line and in top end with a car that averages 30mpg in race mode and 55mpg in cruise what car can beat that? My current weekend car is an Audi RS4 B7 Saloon with Milteks & brings me so much joy but sadly has a drinking problem. Even if I drive like a granny which I rarely do it still sucks on fuel! Rant over P.S back to the 0P. If you are to get an E60 M5 make sure you get the LCI. Far better in every way. Revised gearbox etc. My brothers had a 525D PRE LCI & it was a dog, slow gearbox change and didn't like it, also it never helped as he bought the car from auction (Copart private seller) & was never looked after and so he had to change quite a few parts before I told him to get rid! He then got an e60 BMW 530D LCI in Le Mans Blue which was well maintained and I absolutely loved it and it never gave him headache. LCI command double the market value of a pre LCI but when you drive them both you begin to understand why. Sports gearbox is a lot better. I'm still tempted to get an M5 E60 as the sound on them can't simply be beaten.
