Hi all, If someone could give me some advice on the following to help a potential sale. I'm selling my 19" Antera wheels. They're on eBay atm http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-Antera-Alloy-Wheels-5x114-3-Supra-Skyline-NSX-GOODYEAR-EAGLE-F1-Tyres-JAP-/321785379344?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT#ht_338wt_1140. I have a Chap who's not sure if his 350z needs adaptors, as his 350 has bigger brakes (Brembos) and with the wheels being 5x114.3 PCD fitment and with mine being a UK spec the Anteras cleared without the need of spacers/adaptors. And so Is there any need for the prospective buyer to buy spacers to clear brakes as I would of thought the Supra big brakes and Brembos would be similar?

Wow, I'm glad I read this thread (Was long to look at initially but I subscribed to read for a later date) it's inspiring. Credit to you man, just shows everything happens for a reason, all down to your kismat (fate)

From Storm Blue to Matt White. What do you think? (Paul Walker Tribute)
Supra2jze replied to Supra2jze's topic in Supra Chat
Purple a bit too strong for me. Easy Jay! Let's just say the cheeky PM got me going in the right direction And to James above...I forgot to add, partly why I wouldn't want to change the LMs to Silver was because I wouldn't be able to have that two tone look (polished lip) as 'Black' is the only other option I'd consider, but having tried the black set (My 1st BBS LM's) I had against the Storm Blue it just didn't look right, plus with the Black you can hardly see the detail even with a polished lip. I'm a bit of a fuss pot & I do have OCD. -

I think your right! LOL most probably because the paint of the car had seen better days in its 20 years so the second it changed & got rid of the peel marks , hmm, maybe I am getting excited. The old paint didn't get me smiling enough, -

Was considering changing the LMs to Silver, and if I was to get it re-sprayed professionally it would indeed be a window out job. Got me thinking though, anyway i suppose I have till next summer to decide just thought the White looked great True say, white is common these days, but just looking at the car today beaming off the Sun (Manchester finally had some sunshine) it really got me thinking Buy yeah you right Storm Blue is unique. I do like it also will have to see. -
I've been wanting to wrap/plastidip my car for a while. Ever since I bought the Supra back in Jan, the car was in need of some paintwork. Plan was to save up & get it professionally Re-sprayed in it's Original colour (Storm Blue). However, as some of you have probably known I've been after a set of BBS LM's for sometime! (So far I've bought 2 sets of LM's...wrong fitment the first time) but thanks to Craig I managed to get the correct set in mint condition so the opportunity to buy them was too hard to resist. Which meant the professional Re-spray money had gone out the window. So now, I'm left with the dilemma after just experimenting with the colour 'white'. I've began to fall in love with it....at the same time I like the Storm Blue. But White...coupled with the BBS LMs I think looks a lot better. (I knew it would look good) but I think I may just professionally Re-spray it in white when I've saved up because the Storm Blue against the Gold BBS LM's is not the best contrast. Anyway, enough of me yapping away, here's some pics of my first attempt to a palstidip on my front drive

Update: The White Liquid wrap is currently out of stock (even though it shows it's in stock) and so I was issued a Refund http://www.frost.co.uk/automotive-paint-coating-electroplating/coatings/rubber-coating-wrap-dip-spray/frost-liquid-wrap-rubber-coating-spray/liquid-wrap-matt-white-5-litre.html With me finally having the free time..., I just went and bought a 5litre Liquid wrap off this website https://www.liquidcarwraps.co.uk/ Turns out it's a bogus site I've paid using a service called 'World Pay' but they don't issue refunds they just process payments so looks like it's a trip to the Bank first thing tomorrow. So now I'm left wondering, would anyone else be able to recommend a place where I could purchase the white liquid wrap from?

When I was on the look-out for a UK 6 Speed last year. I too found the chap to be unenthusiastic. But the bigger concern for me was..., Why has the Blue Supra been advertised for years & not sold? I was told to stay clear from members on here. It could well be genuine but all I know is they as a company have changed there name several times, which can only be a bad thing. Once you do your research on Clives Performance it will also come as no surprise that they too are talked about on other forums. Ps the price on that blue one has been advertised at 11k, 16k & now at 14k. I've not seen the black one advertised before. Had you been on here a month or two earlier, there was a clean white 6 speed Supra (Lbooths) For Sale but now Sold. Imo probably the cleanest UK spec supra on here & it was within your budget. Anyway, good luck with your search.

That's a nice Supra, looks mint. That colour, LMs & the 6 speed you really have ticked almost every box in one go. The big Single TURB0 coming next?

Hi & welcome. TT is deffo the way to go over the N/A if that's what you want. I'm turning 21 this summer but the opportunity to buy a TT came by & so I bought one. Will be getting insured this summer with Competition Car Insurance. I'd avoid sites such as Compare as prices are just stupid.

Will do mate. Having ordered the paint last night just been informed via email that the white 5lr Liquid wrap is out of stock

Where to get Cambelt replaced in North West (Manchester)
Supra2jze replied to Supra2jze's topic in mkiv Technical
Yeah tell me about it. We could've had regular Supra meets, and a mini drag race down the dual carriageway Starting from from Tesco Didsbury lights, right the way down to Shell on Kingsway Yes, and traffic is still busy. I live 2 mins from the Shell garage (in-between Shell & just before the lights as you come down the hill) Which begs the question, was it you that use to drive occasionally in a white Supra down Kingsway?! As that's the only ever one I use to see as a youngster. -
I'm in the exact position as the OP. However, I had saved up for a full re-spray (as when I bought the car in Jan it had chrome stickers on & the previous owner peeled it off, it revealed some paint damage) so having had the money to do a FULL re-spray...the opportunity to buy (Swampy44) BBS LMs came by & so the summer re-spray would have to be postponed for now. I was thinking of either to plasti-dip it in Matte Black of White. But I decided I'm going for white, my mate has the equipment so I'll give it a shot next week. If was comes to worst & I f$% up then It's not going to look any worse than it is. So it's a win-win for me.

Where to get Cambelt replaced in North West (Manchester)
Supra2jze replied to Supra2jze's topic in mkiv Technical
South Manchester They rang me back. They said it's £35 for the cambelt & £355 for labour [sHOCK][/sHOCK] Thanks will do. No way! I live just off Gatley. I literally would of been 5 mins up the road from you (Kingsway, East Didsbury) Ahh, no worries will give you the thumbs up when I get the car on the road. -
Always been a Fan of Bimmers. It's funny you don't see many e60s about, but then again they're ain't reliable. The F10 looks nice, good pick. Having recently sat in one. I was surprised how big the bonnet is from a seated point of view.

Hi all, Just need some guidance, a 'Service A' is due on the Supra & I think it's time the cambelt is replaced. Just rang Toyota Stockport & they're going to ring me back to give me a quote. Lady on the phone has worked at Toyota for 25 years & said she's never dealt with a customer with a Supra before (apart from one in Bradbury when it was called in) to which I replied... I'll be your first! Just wondering where the rest of the North West Supra guys go for a service/cambelt replacement?? Thanks Usman

This should help. R32 are nice but the R33 are nicer imo. But then the R34 (V-Spec) is EVEN nicer! Failing that, go buy the Nissan GTR which tops the bill, added to the fact that production for GTR's will come to a halt this time next year so you place an order and buy a new one! Btw if I had the money, I'd be the first to place two GTR's on order for next year (one for future investment & one for myself)

Sad story, just reading this all now but the main thing is you both are okay. Lesson we should all learn from I guess, from wearing helmets on track days to the basics of a seatbelt on your every day drive. Thankfully you had such a high level of protection. But It's events like this that give us a reality check of how life can split within a second. It's like my mate lost it on his Gixxer as he was coming off a roundabout due to some pebbles on an A-Road. And you think to yourself something so small (Pebbles) can do so much damage (2 wrists & a destroyed bike) Wish you both a speedy recovery and to the fella above that was brave of you.

Can't wait, i mean the current regulation make it far too predictable. F1 deffo needs refuelling back. I use to enjoy the strategic side of things during the course of a Grand Prix weekend.

I'm probably facing the same problem as the OP given that I'm approaching 21 & not had my license for a while. I need to bring insurance down. So I went & bought a Yaris as a daily. I'm not being funny these mini things do the job. It gets me A-B & drives good, reliable starts first time (even in winter!) the beauty is parking this anywhere..., can get it to fit in-between bollards (when at Uni) you get the hint, the car Is nippy & takes you by surprise. The downside for me is with mine being a 1 litre VVTI -...on motorway journeys it's not the best but you may want to get the T-spirit 1.3 in that case to help on the highway runs. (My dad has got me under some sort of household policy insurance whereby I can drive anything up to 2.5litre providing the cars are under his name, so I take my bros A4 if I need the highway) Now just waiting for me to turn 21 & wait for QUOTES on the Supra!
