Had no choice but to go with the PHR kit. Expensive but looks amazing once fitted. Standard Whifbitz kit which required fabrication but my local garage are handy with modifications. Few pics attached

Hi there, Just need some help with installation, myself & mechanic will be fitting the Whifbitz Inlet Manifold (Drive by wire) 1. Does the power steering need to be moved in order for clearance? I have seen PHR steering resouvier kits but as nice as they are they seem very dear just to clear a throttle body! Is there any other ways around it / alternatives? 2. Appears to be 4 pipes on the new Whifbitz inlet manifold, but only 2 wires from the Supra that come from the top that appear to be too short to connect with the new manifold ? 3. Finally, the stock inlet has mounting points for the wiring loom. However, the new Whifbitz inlet has no mounting points for the wiring loom, is this OK to tuck under? Thanks

RS4 B7 Avant / Saloon are my go to cars. I've had two and loved every min in them. They're quite spacious & are so fun to drive. Only down side is they are thirsty on fuel & I would advise getting one that's had a good service history & big ticket items checked such as DRC/ Oil cooler, carbon clean etc. Wouldn't get an e90/2 M3 as they're quite problematic.

Keep the car for another 4 years, you've done it before so I'm sure you can do it again Then come back to this thread in 4 years time & ask the same question. You may just find you get close to £100,000

I've been without a Supra once before for nearly a year & it's hard. The fact is, not many cars out there that give you the same thrill, sensation and joy that a Supra has to offer. Maybe I'm just too proud owning a Supra The only thing that will make me sell is if my circumstances change I.e getting a house/new career etc. I'm 27 now, I have my savings & it would be a really last resort & I'd do everything in my power to not ever have to use the Supra to fund my first house.

Seats were installed by JDK Autoworx, using M2 Seat Rails. The rails required some minor modifications in order for them to fit. Whilst that was going on, my brothers Nissan Skyline R34 GTR was getting an annual service. So when I initially purchased the Supra last year I was fully aware it needed a FULL Respray. I was leaning towards respraying the Supra in what would be a very unique Lamborghini Individual Colour. I'm fortunate to have driven a few nice cars in my time. Last summer, I had the privilege of driving this beautful Lamborghini Huracan Spyder. More then the car itself, I was in love with the colour! The depth of the blue was so deep & mesmerising I just knew I had to have my next Supra in this colour. However, after much consideration & with the help of numerous chats with like minded Supra enthusiasts. I went against the Lambo Blue and instead chose to respray her in the Original 8L5 Royal Sapphire Pearl (RSP) My reasoning for performing this sudden U turn was: A) I still hadn't seen what a true Royal Sapphire Pearl looked like. Similar to my very first Supra, a 20 year old Supra with faded paint changes the looks of a car & it's paint colour B) The biggest reason for me to stick with the RSP was that in fact, the car wasn't resprayed in RSP. It did leave the Factory in Japan in RSP but the previous owner before @marc_phad resprayed the car a different colour & the car was subsequently resprayed/blown over in what was a non-factory Suzuki Ultra Blue colour. C) Royal Sapphire Pearl is arguably regarded as the best colour for the Toyota Supra. That being said, I could see why that was the case. As this pic below illustrates the true original colour of the RSP is the colour you see on the inside of the Door Sills. The colour is a much darker shade of Purple/Blue, compared to the rest of the car which is sadly in Suzuki Ultra Blue. Thankfully no one ever messed with respraying the inside of the car. Again, you can see the true RSP on the inside of the boot well & chassis. That day of driving it to the Garage for it's long overdue respray had arrived. With all my previous full resprays, a Glass out job was essential in order to get the best finish. Glass removed I decided to delete the rear wipers, as the car would never be driven in the rain... So they got sanded down & removed.

I think the way the markets going, £50/55k is not out the question. Desirable colour, hang tight you may just get an overseas buyer.

My very first Supra was a Storm Blue UK Spec Auto which I owned for 4.5 years at the age of 20 - I also remember getting a bit of a 'student discount' at the time in Jan 2015 (£3,000) My 2nd Supra was a UK Spec 6 Speed which I had at the same time as my auto, but that was short lived as I was finalising a deal to export my UK Spec Auto to the USA. Was nice having two UK specs together, both in Storm Blue as well (even though it was only for about 2 months) My UK Spec Manual ownership only lasted a year though. I now have 2 Aerotops, a DCT & a 6 Speed Single Turbo. A common trend - I seem to do everything in pairs

Have to agree here, the only thing the R34 has maybe over the Supra is the striking looks from stock, but then on a good day - a nicely subtle modified Supra (Rmm front lip etc) can look just as good. My brother has an R34 V-Spec & it drives like a Nissan Sunny, feels like a Nissan Sunny from inside. It was 100% Stock, felt boring & best way to describe it was bland. He then had it mapped by Abbey Motorsport with a link ECU & it didn't make a massive difference & I'm still not overly impressed. I may be over critical for comparing a 2.6 to my modified Supras currently, but if I recall, hell my previous UK Spec Supra TT6 90% Stock felt miles better Without sounding biased, I would much rather have 3 Supras then one R34. As nice as the R34 is to look at, the Supra will always be a better car imo, at least to drive anyway.

I ordered an ABS sensor that was allegedly discontinued but was showing available on Amayamas website. I went ahead and purchased despite the website saying 6 week delay due to Covid-19 Part arrived within 3 weeks.

Removed from my 1993 Toyota Supra. J spec headlights that have been split previously. Black inserts, overall the headlights are in good condition. No bulbs included. Only selling as I've recently bought a set of UK Glass headlights. £350 Cash on collection preferred Manchester

Interesting trial, would be great to see this kit working. Definitely interested. Just bought a used UK set that's close to as new condition. Wanting to split them, as I so desperately want to respray the chrome inserts 'black'. What would you recommend @Noz? Thanks

My first UK Spec Supra Auto has been running all stock Turbos from new & was on 173kmiles before I sold & exported to America. I've been in contact with the new owner & he's still running the stock twin turbo set up. He's planning to go single at some point.

Okay, so I wasn't expecting to buy another Supra so soon, especially another Aerotop But the opportunity to buy @scott.wild 'The Worlds First DCT Supra' was too good of an opportunity to turn down. Similar to my last purchase (RSP Aerotop) the process of buying this Supra was purely an impulsive buy & one that has left my head spinning even more then I could have possibly imagined. Would like to say a massive thanks to @scott.wild for not only sticking to his word by giving me first refusal - As people were literally queuing up to buy this car & even some people over bidding, yet Scott stuck to his word & didn't even take a deposit despite me insisting on leaving a deposit. This car is literally amazing in so many ways & has honestly left me & family/mates speechless! Sticks to the ground so good, with minor correction needed (Just to remind you it's a Supra) and puts the power down beautifully. Whifbitz have clearly built a monster & the DCT has definitely won me over! Also big thanks to the forum, this is now my 4th Supra purchase off here & 2nd Aerotop Here's a pic of the JDM family together.
