Will take offers around the £49k o.n.o mark if this goes soon otherwise I’ll hang on to it and sell other stuff
-
Thanks Peter, very kind. I will indeed miss it (and probably regret it every single day...forever) but life circumstances sometimes take unexpected turns so needs must. Thanks again

Hello all, I'm begrudgingly considering the sale of my Supra (having owned it for more than 10 years). The headline info is that it's got a fairly recent and well spec'd SRD built engine, it pushes circa 850hp (750rwhp) through a recent Paul Cheshire 6spd box and is an all round lovely package. The car was originally an NA5 (not that there's much left of that). The car recently (July 24) had a check over at SRD before embarking on a European roadtrip where it performed absolutely faultlessly. It was serviced by Paul Cheshire in May 24, where in addition to the usual service items, Paul rebuilt the steering rack, replaced the PS pump with a new OEM toyota unit, replaced heater hoses, did the tracking. I have a HUGELY comprehensive history file with this car with every single receipt and invoice since my ownership and great history prior too. Spec list as follows (no doubt there's stuff I've missed); Car started life as an NA5 but has had a forged vvti and 6spd transplant by SRD tuning. Cosmetically it’s had a full respray a few years ago and the front end redone circa 18months ago. A few other cosmetic upgrades including a full carbon boot lid. Any takers? I’ll take £600

Whifbitz 4in single box exhaust for sale. It’s been on the car circa 18months and 1800 miles. It’ll have some road rash from speed bumps but nothing detrimental. £650 (o.n.o) collected (from Aylesbury to NW London or somewhere in between).

Got a 3in 2nd decat, Whifbitz one. It's used so surface scratches where the car bottomed out but still solid and in great nick otherwise. Collection from Aylesbury

I think this Supra excites me more than my own. A real barn-find type build and it's fantastic, keep up the good progress.
-
Great progress as always guys. Enjoying this resurrection thread

Love following this thread, the workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. One thing I noticed in this, you seem to have new oem hockey stick bits, but the lower portion of the side vents (the bit that ties in to the side skirts) has seemingly been colour coded. Is this a personal preference? I ask because I colour coded mine years ago but regretted it. I've since had them refurbished with a textured black paint to appear oem but I'm concerned it won't hold up well and wish I had oem ones (you can buy them, I just can't justify it on my build which is nowhere near as pretty as yours).
-
Whole build is incredible, but I came to ask exactly this. Is it OEM or one of the repro's floating around?

That's a lovely size single garage. Very jealous. I have to twist my body in to unholy shapes to get in and out of my car even if the other side is practically touching the wall. Car isn't too bad either I like the sound of that tomei. I wonder how it would compare volume wise to my whifbitz 4in.

**SOLD** ENDLESS RACING 6 & 4 POT FRONT & REAR BRAKES
mharvey replied to Chingy's topic in Parts for Sale
These look brilliant and as a K-Sport owner...I know where I'd rather put my money. I'm not knocking the K-Sports but these are undoubtedly in a different league. REALLY well priced too. Good luck with the sale mate! Wish I had the funds. -
Don't have the drivers side a-pillar trim do you?
-
Still need a drivers side a-pillar trim

Speak to SRD, they’ve fitted me a Spec stage 3+ clutch. It’s a single plate, used with OEM flywheel. It’s quiet and feels much like OEM. I’ve had the same model clutch now on my w58, r154 and v161.

CALL ME DUMB BUT DO SUPRA MK4'S HAVE POLLON FILTERS ?
mharvey replied to supragr1's topic in Supra Chat
They don't...but they do have the space for one it seems. Bit strange why they didn't but this seemed an interesting little mod; https://www.supraforums.com/threads/mkiv-cabin-air-filter-install-diy.1125508/ -
Nice one! I used to do a lot more miles when mine was NA but since the latest build I've made plenty of excuses for it! I haven't done any 400 mile trips this year but I will try and catch up haha. Like you said, regular washing is key. I'm going to have it up on stands and do underneath over the next couple days (anybody in Bucks with an outdoor ramp haha)

I wonder if there are many using their Supra's at the moment? I had planned to tuck mine up for the winter however I then realised that I've waited circa 8 years for it to be at a standard where I can just use it and yet in the last year I've only done circa 2,000 miles. A friend uses his BMW M5 all year round so why can't I use my performance car, AND if I'm not using it then I should sell it and buy something more useable....That being said, the latest -5º with an 800hp single turbo and no traction control has been interesting So last week I popped down to SRD for a quick check over and MOT and then haven't stopped using it since! I've been commuting the 80mile round trip to work in it over the last few days and it's absolutely filthy. She's going to get a good old bath now and the underside too but I'm not scared to use it now and that, for me, is priceless!!!
-
Absolute dream! If you fancy swapping for your 5th Supra haha Congratulations!!
-
Got an OEM one, been painted in purple. It's had the 'twin turbo' bit of script shaved off. Otherwise in great condition. Feel free to PM and I can get some phootos in the coming days
-
Mine is just the 'Pro' and fits perfectly on my 94 (with stock 3 spoke steering wheel)

Hybrid/highflow twin turbos VS small single turbo setup

This! Love details like the very neat manifold heat protection. It looks like something that belongs on an Apollo mission. The oil cooler looks very neat too, is that custom? Get a thread up -
I don't live up there now but I'm from Wolves and as such go back when I can. Like Sukhy, feel free to drop a message closer to the time and I may also be able Definitely for a charity donation
