  1. When fitting a Blitz dump valve with hardpipe is it necessary to remove the original B.O.V.? Would it affect boost etc. if left in place? If removal is neccessary, how do I go about it? Thanks in advance.
  2. Saw a NA supe for £5995 at Billing and it was spot on !!!!!!!!

  5. OK I have used the "search" button but I cannot find out how to change the power steering fluid !!!!!! The fluid that is in smells "burnt" Is this normal ???? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Went last year which was better than the year before ! Do we need to arrange a meet up time/place ?????
  7. I have one fitted to my Japspec TT. It was on when I got it. Airflow seems to be OK. don't know model number though. I have attached 2 pics if any help.
  8. I had a new front plate made at the "Japs" show last year at Thoresby. It is 3" x 12" and has 2" high letters/numbers. Up here in Yorkshire our wonderful police force seem to be more concerned with doing what they are supposed to do rather than checking number plates on cars. Also it went through MOT with smaller plate on and examiner said it was ok. However I keep the original plate down the side of the drivers seat just in case, so I can quickly put it on top of the dash if necedssary !!!!! If my car was of the "boy racer" variety I think the police would take a different view about a "smaller" front plate.
  9. Thanks for mega quick reply Bobbeh...Yes I have a Blitz BOV and Apex induction kit. Just seems to me that the air that is giving the "woosh" should be helping to "boost" the engine.
  10. I have a 95 Japspec TT 6 speed. Now this may have been happening all the time but it is someting I have only just "noticed". If I "feather" the go pedal I can hear a distinct and constant "wooshing" noise which disappears when I floor the pedal. Is this to do with turbo wastegates? Car is running ok and sorry if this question is a time waster. Thanks in advance.
  11. Thanks for your super quick reply......chris n.
  12. I would be grateful if anyone can tell me what this is/does. It is located on the dashboard at drivers side front. I would also like to take this opportunity to publicly thank KUBUS 1 for all the help he gave me with my "turbo timer install".
  13. Thanks everyone for your replies. I have cured the problem....hopefully.....wiring gremlins strike again. Some info I forgot......the car is an import and has a Blitz dump valve. I will continue to browse the boards and help where i feel I can.....as I said before the intricacies of the Supra are a learning curve for me...hopefully one thats not too steep.
  14. Thanks for the "warm" welcome. Maybe the "etiquette" that a newbie is meant to adhere to should be pointed out on the registration form. This would be less of a shock to any other newbies who failed to "introduce" themselves. Thanks to suprarob and MONKEYmark for the welcome. My details are as follows:- Toyota Supra 1995 TT 6 spd. Apexi induction kit, aftermarket exhaust, full Veilside C1 bodykit, Toad alarm, 17" bbs alloys...front 9x17, rear 10x17. Colour Blood red. I am 50 years of age, married with 2 children and have owned the Supra for about 1 week. This is something I have wanted for a long time having owned/restored various cars. If anyone needs any more info please contact me. Once again I apologise if I have offended anyone.
  15. When I turn the light stalk to dipped beam the light does not work. All others work o.k. The light relay(brown) clicks when I turn the lighting stalk. I would be grateful for any help as I am "new" to Supras. Thanks in advance.
