  1. Thankfully they're not upset with me. See I've always thought about setting it back to the stock (Baltic blue metallic I believe without looking at the vin) as it's not a common colour but I do love the pop of the Lamborghini orange (arancio borealis) plus its cost me a pretty penny so far
  2. Had someone round to the shop today to remove the glass and thankfully managed to remove the front and rear windows without breaking them, as he pre warned me it would be £450 for a new window fitted (is this a good price?) so now the final strip down of the paint begins. PS IF ANYONE HAS SOME GOOD CONDITION REAR QUARTER GLASS LET ME KNOW, MY SEALS ARE CHEWED
  3. So spoke with the painter he's hit even more problems. Turns out the paint wasn't left long enough before applying the lacquer which is why they're struggling to remove the paint.
  4. You and me both. I'll find out today
  5. So I bought the car back in 2013 with no history whatsoever. However was informed by the seller paint work wasn't the best. 4 years later and plenty of stone chips. Finally decided on biting the bullet and getting the car painted. Now a few friends of mine have been and had their cars done here and recommended me to them, so I took the car there on Saturday after a quick chat on what I wanted happening. So I dropped the car off thinking just a straight forward rub down and a few coats of paint, how wrong was I to be naive that the paintjob before was done well. So after stripping and beginning to sand down. The body shop soon realised the quality of the paint used was abysmal and just clogged up the sanding pads. So a complete rub back and start over is needed. Will keep updated once more comes up
  6. I need a full respray on the supra. Not after a colour change just the same colour. Anyone recommend anywhere local to the Shropshire/wrexham area? Picture for attention
  7. Yeah put me down I'm only round the corner
  8. Was the one by my work up in deeside chris
  9. See I thought it was kind of weird as ive used another dealership and never had a problem when I go in for things like gearbox strainers and what not. May try another dealer along with Steve see what they say. Cheers for the information guys
  10. Pretty much most, if not all my hoses have perished and begun to split. Spoke to the Toyota dealership near me, they say they only order in bulk but will not sell the part. Anyone know of any replacements that are possible? Many thanks
  11. Try not to kill her Chris by spinning on a roundabout [emoji23] Count me in
  12. I've done a few meets there and it's good because the bloke who deals with the car club meets is more than happy to smack a massive discount on anything you buy while your there, and if you don't have the funds or need to buy anything he's more than happy for you to ring him at a later date and he will add a discount, He also normally does awards for best car, distance travelled and all that so you can win some free stuff. Count me in I'm up for this as I'm 20 minutes down the road

Silver supra, Headed through Whittington and st martins up towards Overton, Shropshire. Today about 4 Was behind you in the silver z3
  14. Do you have a rear left hub and driver window motor
  15. I'm after a driver side window mechanism as the plastic clip on the wire has snapped. Also after the rear hub assembly, preferably complete with abs sensor as we all know they're a PITA to get off, failing that just the hub itself Many thanks
  16. Spot on cheers mate, wasn't sure whether it was the same and didn't want to wreck the diff
  17. So what oil do you recommend for an A02A diff as I've been to Toyota and they were clueless. Searched a lot but can't find anything on it? Is it just 75w-90 like the LSD or something different

  20. Pretty much exactly what I did 2 years ago when my tensioner fell apart, hence trying to save money on the crank pulley, learnt from that mistake
  21. Use mine any chance I can as I love the way it drives, where about are you in Shropshire? I'm just near Oswestry
  22. Make sure you get an oem pulley as I bought an eBay special, bang on 2 years later and 30000 miles I needed a new one so learnt from my mistake and got genuine
