  1. Sorry for the late reply been away, no I’ve had no luck sourcing anything yet
  2. Potentially After a complete v160 driveline so flywheel, clutch, gearbox, prop, A03 diff and driveshaft. Would prefer to see it running and working as we all know they’re not cheap
  3. Thanks for that, just ordered the lot now and bonus is they ship using parcelforce 24hr so Hopefully can get it fitted and fixed this week
  4. Thanks, I did see this website I just never heard of it so wasn’t sure it was genuine. I’ll give these a try
  5. Yeah that’s the one, thanks for that, I knew a lot of parts are the same but never knew that
  6. Need a NS rear hub drive flange pretty quickly and a good quality part, anyone recommend somewhere to get one from? Along with a wheel bearing Many thanks
  7. Booked for myself and my brother 2 drag tickets
  8. Have you still got the chris Wilson front springs for sale?
  9. Yes mate this is the place. Really Good bunch of people Can find them on Facebook too
  10. Thankfully he loved the car and loved working on it so I think that swayed him aswell. Windows were £180 removed with new seals
  11. This was quoted after he discovered all the work needed. He's trying to establish himself and his business, so he doesn't want to rip people off or charge extortionate rates. Which I'm really glad for He originally quoted between £1500-£2000
  12. Exactly 2 weeks he's had it. Working none stop on it
  13. So she's back together complete and I've just got home from picking her up and I love it. Been a nervous and exciting 2 weeks but worth it. Pictures don't do it justice
  14. Speaking to the bloke doing it and he was saying he's pretty much been doing it 8-8 everyday apart from sundays
  15. She's out the spray booth with all the layers applied now. The colour in the sun is unreal. Now it's ready to start bolting the parts back on and give it all a good flat and polish before all the windows go back in Even added the orange pearl coat over the ridox carbon fibre skirts which I think looks amazing. Paint shop has assured me it will be ready for picking up tomorrow afternoon and I truly cannot wait
  16. Because it's a "shut door paint job" and not a full interior strip to get all inside painted its £2230 but in that is obviously all the window removal and I know for a fact the paint isn't cheap because it's a Lamborghini orange (arancio borrealis) so it's a 3 stage pearl. If the paint work wasn't so buggered he originally quoted me between £1500-£2000 with a couple of door ding removals
  17. Now the orange pearl coat is getting applied and I've got to say the colour is amazing Still a couple more layers to go and a good flat and polish, plus all the other little bits like Spoiler and side skirts but excited is an understatement
  18. So layers of paint are finally getting applied he's informed me he's doing 5 layers of orange undercoat, 2 layers of orange pearl top coat, an orange pearl drop coat then 3 layers of lacquer so it's definitely going to shine
  19. Yeah certainly a bad job. Because the door jams and what not are already an okay orange I decided to just go for the outside to try and keep costs down, as I've not got loads of money to throw at it
  20. Really wouldn't surprise me gaz. Cheap paint and very cheap paint job. More than likely a backyard job to be fair. It didn't look too bad after a good clean and polish but It will look a million times better now. I'm glad because I really fell out of love with the car because of the paint
  21. Car has been primered and flatted now so it is finally starting to resemble a clean supra for a change instead of multi colour patches It's about to get its final prep work ready for the paint to get layered
  22. Last couple of bits of prep work was done over the weekend so this week should start getting its first couple of layers of primer. Looking forward to having the paint good again
  23. See I thought that, hence the reason I'm having him put the old glass in because I'm sure I can get it cheaper. If it's not broke don't fix it
  24. One day once I'm a bit richer I'll probably end up taking it back to the stock colour because it is a lovely colour
