  1. I'm trying to fit a after market alarm system and could do with a bit of help here's the wiring diagram that came with the alarm I am aware of how to connect to the battery and the ignition wiring as well as the siren its the rest I'm stuck on Any help would be great
  2. Excellent pics, and really enjoyed the day out, it was nice to meet you all and thanks Al for organising it all, look forward to next time
  3. I wouldn't worry about that too much mines silver and will be coming with a white bumper and a dent in the drivers side wheel arch, but it will be clean lol
  4. I use Fuchs titan Pro S I think its the 5w-40 I use it was about £60 5ltr when I got it in November but in January it was about £46 Its ester based which is better than just fully syn Also I have found that the Fuchs titan smells quite nice and I have been able to tell I had an oil leak just based on the smell when it burnt, never have done with normal oil
  5. Thanks, I learn something new from the forum every time I'm on
  6. For the drivers seat only thing I can think of is check in the tightness of the bolts that hold it in place
  7. Sorry to hear your supe failed, As far as I'm aware all UK spec cars came with fog lights fitted as standard where as they are or were not a requirement in Japan so they weren't fitted So if your car is an import and never had the fog light mod done it would be safe to assume you don't have one But judging from the MOT certificate, it does have one and a switch to go with it, if it has had the tail lights nodded with the fog light the best thing to start with is the wiring. Check in the boot near the light loom and see if it has been cut into at all, if it has it probably has had the fog light mod done just check all of the wires coming from the loom to make sure they are correctly connected I would also check the switch in the dash, pull it out and make sure they are all connected. If it is a UK spec car I couldn't really tell you what to look for as mine is a J-Spec so I had to do the fog light mod my self so I'm just going on my knowledge of what I had to do to, to get it working There is a thread on here in regards how to do the fog light mod if you need it, sorry I don't have the link Hope this helps you in some way And good luck with sorting out your supe

  9. Thanks I'm happy with the majority vote but if the IMAX is noticeably better then I would personally vote for that one, not really bothered how much it costs as I get paid the day before, which ever is best for everyone
  10. That's fine with me and IMAX or VIP is fine with me (don't know what the difference is though) its been about 10 years since I've been to a cinema lol
  11. I'm up for any time and also food first sounds good as its definitely sat 04 April I will get that booked off as I work between 0230 - 1000 so I can have a sleep in and make it all way through the night lol
  12. Not a problem anything I can do to help a fellow club member
  13. Thanks I will give this a shot during the next few days and see what I can find Thanks for your help Matt
  14. OK so here it is Lay the mirror on the table flat and push on the top right corner on the mirror till it stops and then very gently gift the bottom left corner and it should move a bit more slightly It should go from this To this Once that has been done you should be able to see a thick black bit of plastic behind it looks a bit like this Another angle The above image you can just see my screwdriver between the thick plastic and the actual mirror Once you have done twist the screwdriver slowly until the mirror comes away from the plastic a little and then move further down the mirror and do the same all I did was slide the screwdriver down while it was still in between the plastic and the mirror glass BE FIRM BUT GENTLE THIS CAN BRAKE THE MIRROR Will look like this once you have done it Once you have done this just push the bottom of the mirror glass back and it will come in off with ease Yours will look slightly different as this mirror was a heated 1 eight the heater cable and mirror taken out To put the mirror back in place the top hooked part in first and then push down on the bottom of the mirror until you here it click in place its a much louder click than what it is when the mirror is being moved manually (might need a little pressure) Hope this helps Let me know if there's anything your stuck on and I'll do my best to help Pete
  15. OK I will have a look over the next few days what signs should I be looking for underneath as I have never done this type if thing before
  16. Let me know if you have any issues I still have my old paid so I can take them apart again and give a better write up if needed
  17. Well I had my trusted garage have a look and they said 1 bush was rusted and that could be the cause of the issue but they never mentioned anything about the suspension or arms so I assumed that it was just the bushes but I can't remember which bush he said it was Thought I would check on here first (not that I don't trust them just wanted to make sure first) If they only mentioned that about the bush being rusted would you get a second opinion to make sure or would you start with that Thanks
  18. I have had this issue a few weeks now and I'm not 100% sure if I'm correct but it has gotten slightly worse after going BPU When driving it feels like the rear passengers side wheel is loosing contact with the road and when I put the foot down it always feels like the back end is sliding everywhere when its not although my car does go sideways nearly every day without fail Would I be right in saying its the bushes for the anti-sway bar or is it something else any help would be appreciated Thanks Pete
  19. I have managed to do it last weekend was a pita but I managed it in the end Thanks all
  20. I have done this to 2 sets of mirrors heated and folding to make 1 set of heated folding mirrors its easy hardest part is getting the actually mirror off without braking it Once the mirrors are off the car push firmly to tilt the mirror up so you can see underneath it at the bottom under the glass After you have done this get a thin flat screwdriver that does not bend and you should see some clips underneath Gert the screwdriver under it and press down on the clip while pulling at the mirror at the same time I held the entire mirror between my legs to make it easier But be warned I nearly broke mine as it was bending mine but the clips just would not come out of their housing If it is a heated mirror on the inside I had a very large spring which I couldn't do any thing with as I could not find a way to remove it However on the folding mirrors everything can be taken out Whet are you trying to do with the mirrors and I will see if I can help further if it is to put heated mirrors on the folding mirrors there is a thread I put a little read up (no pics) but I should still have them as I took some when going along Let me know Pete
  21. Thanks will have a look tomorrow when I have enough light to start fitting it
  22. Thanks for all of your replies I have finally managed to do it On a slightly other note has anyone done a read up with images for fitting the Greddy profec boost controller (new style) I usually find that a guide on here is usually easier to understand than a manual That and I can compare the pictures to my car to see how everything is set up I am aware that there is instructions on the Greddy website but I don't know where everything is in the engine bay yet and its not car specific Any help or pointers would be appreciated Thanks all Pete
