Only j spec turbos need a restrictor ring due to the Turbo fans being made from ceramic and not steel (different melting points) smaller Turbo fans as well compared to stock which makes them spool faster then the UK ones so a restrictor ring prevents the Turbo from spooling to fast and melting the ceramic blades Hope this helps (think I got it right) If not someone will correct me

Just finished the fuse box and battery relocation however I have a small clear 4 pin plug in the passengers footwell that I haven't connected could be from drivers side not sure as I can't remember It's a clear cased plug with a yellow back to it that holds the wires and pins in place Anybody knows where this connects? Thanks

Drivers seat is the worst and might look into swapping the rails over Passengers seat is in mint condition though

Passengers is full leather manual sliding and the drivers is full leather electric sliding although the cog inside needs replacing

Thanks while we're talking seats I was thinking of selling my stock JDM ones and use the money to put towards the speeds, how much do they normally go for as I have no idea I have pics if you need to see the condition of them Thanks appreciate all the help

Ill look into that option as well and see which will work out the cheapest Also what frames would I need to keep the seat as close to the floor as possible like the stock seats and would that allow the seat to slide forwards / backwards

They would which is what my first choice was but wanted leather seats and the double red stitching is made from perlon velor which I believe is fabric?

I think I'm warming to the speeds would getting the inners in red suade be too much for the supe dash being in skimmed carbon fibre with the led conversion in red? Don't want them to look too out of place

It is used as a daily driver but I don't cover much distance normally except meets and other things like that and I travelled to London 2 a year As for the ease of getting in and out of the car that doesn't bother me much I have done a bit or rallying and with a roll cage and bucket seats that was a pita so any thing less awkward then that is fine I assume both seats take the 4 point harness only

Hi, im looking to replace my stock jdm seats, but i am not sure which are good seats and which arn't. I would love them to be comfy and stop me from sliding around I have read that the recaro speeds compliment the car and are really comfy what would you recommend and have you got any pictures. the seats would be either fitted with a 4 or 6 point harness thanks Pete
