  1. It is, but time to do grown up things lol. Cheers
  2. Well, it’s with a heavy heart that I have made the call to put this up for sale, but with a potential house purchase on the horizon and access to other Cars, she has to go to a new home. I have owned the Car for just short of a year and has been an absolute pleasure to drive. It Pulls like a train on boost, stock Turbo’s and Automatic Gearbox all still working great. Overall, the Car is very clean and in great condition compared to most imo. Under my ownership, the Car has had some minor changes but nothing drastic, all detailed below and lots of receipts for parts I had. Make: Toyota Model: Chaser, Tourer V Year: 1996 Mileage: 54,898 mile (ODO is in KM - 88,350 Km) MOT: Expires 30th May 2018 Car's location: Walsall, West Midlands Modifications: - Turbosmart Boost Gauge - Bride front Carpet Mats - Japanese Double Din CD Head Unit with Mini Disc Player - HKS Hiper-D Coilovers with Pillow Ball Top Bearings fitted to Cusco Top Mount Plates - 18x7.5” Rays Gram Lights 57 Maximum Pro Time Attack Front Wheels - 18x8” Rays 57Motorsport G07WT Rear Wheels - Nankang NS2-R Tyres all Round - Rays Metal Hub Rings - Rays Valves - Rays Durloc Wheel Nuts - HKS Hi-Power 409 Cat Back Exhaust - SFS Silicone Intake Pipes with Mishimoto T-Bolt Clamps - JR Cylindrical Air Filter - Mishimoto Heat Defence wrapped Intake Hard Pipes - Cusco High Pressure Radiator Cap - HKS Spark Plugs - HKS JZ-G Oil and HKS Oil Filter. - Toyota Wind Deflectors - Toyota Rear Tinted Window Blind Good bits: - Very Clean low mile example - Not many in the UK - Wheels, Tyres and Nuts are Brand New! - Exhaust is brand new! - Low mileage - 1JZ-GTE (Twin Turbo non-VVTI) - Factory White Pearl Paint - Traction Control - ABS - Power and Snow Gearbox modes - Icy Cold Aircon - Auto Lights - Auto Climate Control - Full electronic windows - Electronic mirrors Bad bits: - Small dents on Drivers Rear quarter panel from inside the boot, has cracked/chipped the paint - Very Slight scuff on a couple of bumper corners, should machine polish out I reckon - Passenger Window regulator cable has snapped, so needs changing (Garage-D have the part second hand for £70, so will sort this prior to sale or deduct it off the final price to cover) - Boot and Bonnet Gas Struts are weak and struggle to stay open - Rear Diff has a slight leak from the rear cover (confirmed it is not the driveshaft or prop seals, have the oil and sealant, so will try and get that done prior to sale also) Price, given the prices of some examples, I feel the asking price is pretty reasonable – £8,000 ono This isn’t a what is it worth thread, so I’d appreciate it if folks can refrain from telling me what they think it should be. Any viewings are welcome with prior arrangements. Buyer to collect, I’m not willing to meet half way etc. No rush to sell up, any questions, Please PM for more details. 3. I spotted a few when I was out that way a few years ago. 1x at HKS HQ, looked to be an abandoned test car. Spotted another 6x all parked up at Fuji Speedway, didnt look like they had moved for a while and then another 4x actually being used in anger on the track. All were Mk4s
  4. Making some progress now. Mate at work has a Lathe, so turned down the centres on my new Cusco plates to accept the HKS Bearing Carriers. Fitted some new bolts and were all ready to go on. Ended up bolting them up on Sunday, has taken ages it feels after lots of messing about and a few hicups on the way, but all on and sitting nicely. Ride is firmer, doesnt squat on boost now which is nice Also changed out the HKS Filter for a JR Filter, HKS one wasn't sitting right and short of the cold air feed. JR one fits better
  5. All of my encounters are just seeing the horros of peoples lack of wiring skill. Bastardised looms and those aweful scotch locks, terrible.. lol
  6. Gave the old girl a clean the other day, took some time to give the engine a wipe down, love how clean this thing is Also, had a look through some old clearance stock at work, decided to snap up some old Rays Wheels. 18" Gram Lights 57 Maximum Pro Time Attacks and 57 Motorsport G07WT's both fitted with new Rays Red Valves. Hoping to have some sticky rubber come the end of the month and coilovers fitted too, cant bloody wait
  7. Managed to get it all fitted up on Saturday... Looks great and sounds brilliant when under load and on boost
  8. Nice little Stainless number arrived today Gonna fit it tonight, in the dark, just so I can hear it on the commute to work in the morning lol
  9. A good few months and some hard driving on occasion! lol. I only noticed it when I stripped the carpet out for dying. Had to drive with no interior for a while. If your were accelerating hard and let of the gas for whatever reason, there was a horrible rattle for a second. After getting the bonnet open I could hear a quiet rattle, sounded like it was coming from the head on light revving/idle.
  10. Bit of a dark art now though, not many people mess with them!
  11. and the rest! lighter wheel nuts = less rotating mass lol
  12. I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I used to say that driving the wheels of a lower powered car would be more fun than having masses of power on tap... All that coming from a time when I had never owned a Turbo Car. Then I bought my Chaser, 1JZ Twin Turbo and the stock power is great! I recently bought an old Eunos Roadster for some Drifting and low powered Spirited driving, not as old as you MGB, but i'm still really looking forward to getting that on the Road. Its only a little 1.6l and have already removed the power steering and toying with the idea of fitting some carburettors to it for a bit of old school reliability lol...
  13. Maaaaan, sounded like a right bash... Really wish I could have made it!
  14. Prossibly a long shot, but have you checked the Flex Plate? I had a rattle on mine, though the worst and pulled the Engine for a rebuild, only to find the Flex Plate had cracked it two! No idea how it still drove! lol
  15. I agree, meant to do it earlier today to be honest. Ran out of time though. Will bump the thread with images soon
  16. And going back when he was talking to Arya Stark about people who name their swords, I believe a cerain C word was used, lmao
  17. Please dont, if i have one more animal land into my custody, i'm leaving..! lol
  18. The Hound is my favourite, his harshness and constant cursing makes me laugh. Like when that Lannister Soldier asked him what was in the box.... lmao
  19. Oh boy, we have Pet Rats (12x in total), best not show the wife, might try to get me to talk you into a none lethal trap so she can re-home them..!
  20. Agreed, TWD has been slow, but this latest neegan stuff i think has made it a good season
