Clocked this on my daily read of Speedhunters - http://www.speedhunters.com/2018/01/max-orido-ridox-toyota-supra-jza80/ Looks great, makes me miss mine a heap. Unfortunately I'm not at Premium Day this year, as the MD has gone instead, so I can't have a proper mooch of any Mk4 talent lol

rant Does anyone actually care about this site any longer?

I think the forum is pretty active still, compared to a few others I'm on, but Facebook has taken a lot of the traffic for sure. I dont even have a Supra anymore, but still enjoy coming on lol. I'll admit, as a Trader, I havent been as active in regards to posting. If our membership goes through for another year, I am aiming to post on here more often for 2018. -
I think it all comes down to costs as does everything. Nissan did the GTR stuff and Mazda for the NA Mk1 MX-5, but it was only a handful of parts that were actually being made if i remember correctly. Mazda were even offering a renovation programme for the Mk1 MX5's in Japan, where they would do a ground up overhaul of your Car. Cant be cheap though surely...

I have never had an issue running harnesses. Providing your seats are completely removed, it should be an issue really. As for the correct mounting position of Harnesses, they shouldnt be at anymore the a 45 degree angle (according to my TRS Harness Paperwork). Less is preffered i guess. Worth mentioning that its not ideal to run Harnesses unless you have a rollcage. If you roll the car and are strapped to your seat, you'll end up with your head caved in

Yea, the 987 (cheaper one if you like) More within my budget should I sell my Chaser. 981 looks great, but price is reflected like you say Thats one of the potential problems. Things I have read about Porsche denying it isnt good, especially if you have one thats effected by that and bore scoring It could just be the problem has been amplified through forums etc, so made to be worse than it is? My biggest worry, was if I bought one and had the Engine go down due to the bore scoring issue, I dont think I could afford to have it put right. Some repair bills like new bore sleeves etc can be almost as much as the Car!

I really fancy a Porsche, was looking at the Cayman S recently as an entry level if you could call it that. The only thing thats holding me back is the Engine problems I keep hearing about.

Price for any Toyota Supra Box is a joke, what people pay for a 20 something year old, second hand gearbox is mental...!
-
Got the Seat and Rail together, such a good looking seat, Promptly got it home and bolted in. Will be keeping the stock seat belt for now as I dont have a Cage yet and I still need to use the back seats. Its a snug fit, literally like wearing the Car lol

First Parts delivery of 2018! Bride FO Seat Rail and a Limited Edition Cusco/Bride Colaboration VIOS III Bucket Seat. Cant wait to get this bolted in

We’re actually the Uk importer for Kaaz LSDs lol. The biggest causes of noise is people using the wrong oil, not the Kaaz specific stuff, or the preload is just too aggressive for its application. The noise doesn’t bother me too much, i’m a 2 year Veteran of driving with a welded diff lol. But I would be inclined to try one of their Super-Q LSD’s as they’re quieter. Arent OS mega money?

Well I havent updated this in a while... I had it up for sale to put towards grown-up commitments OR something with a manual Gearbox. Couldnt go through with it in the end, not many of these around at all and seeing as she is the most practical Rwd Japanese Car I have owned, it probably isnt the best call. Unless the right Car came up.... So, moving forwad, I got my Wheels and Tyres on. Fitted them with Rays Nuts and Hub Rings. Might as well fit the best as its my first time owning a branded Wheels Considering they are Cast and not Forged, they are still very lightweight. However, I wasnt kept on the Black Wheels, so made the call to get them re-painted in Silver. Also did the lettering on the Tyres, but i'm not so struck on it, so may well be scrubbing that off.... Still, it looks much better. For now, its off the road thanks to a complete failure of the drivers rear strut. After some strange noises and a quick look underneath, the strut Shaft has sheared just below the top mount. Apparently a friend of mine has seen it before on these. I guess given the age, I dont know what kind of life they had before. Anywho, Cusco have saved the day and offered a new pair of rear struts with Spring Platforms and locking rings. All of which is compatible with the HKS Spring and OE Top Mount. I Should have them in a couple of months and be back out to play in no time. So 2018's further modifications and repair list goes as follows; * Replace rear Struts * Fit Kaaz LSD * Fit Cusco 7 point Roll Cage * Fit Bride Bucket Seat and Seat Rail * Fit Transmission Oil Cooler * Replace Passenger Front Window Regulator * Fit Nardi Steering Wheel

Sold mine as I needed more seats, still miss it. The Chaser I bought in its place is still a cracking Car and way quicker, just not as pretty!

Nice! Bet they had to use a monster sized shoehorn to fit that V12 under the bonnet lol

I share your thoughts, I was told from the beggining about so and so who let theirs off etc. I thought thats not gonna be me! lol He's only 6yrs old, useless as a guard dog, but thats not why we had him anyway. He's very placid and chilled for a Husky, so feel lucky in that respect. hoping to hook him up to this Dog scooter thing the wife bought, so he can get some workout time in
-
Nice, Kangal Dog, never looked at those before, look like they get huge! To be honest, as loyal and compassionate as he is, I have never tried him off the lead and I dont think i ever would on that basis lol Never taught him recall, although We have a massive training lead to walk him on, so never needed to i guess.
-
Just to add, I may consider a p/x for a manual Supra, 350z, Silvia....

What dogs do you breed Chris? We have a Siberian Husky, proper companion that Dog, very clever and loyal pooch, love him to bits Fancied getting a German Shepherd too, but the Wife bought a Pug lol
