  1. Good to hear its not just me lol I'm happy with it so far, need a better selection of paints for more detail though
  2. So whilst i was over in Japan, i couldn't resist getting a Tamiya model whilst picking the kids some gifts up; I used to build all the old airfix stuff years ago and only just having another bash at it. Decided i would try and make it fairly similar to mine before the cage and interior strip happened. Got a few rear end bits painted up And started my Tein Coilovers Sad i know but was interested to see if anyone else has done or is doing this kinda thing?
  3. Damn, I have been debating this for a while, my black paint is showing its age and i am pondering a colour change.... Maybe i should experiment on our BMW Drift car....
  4. Been thinking of Painting the lettering on my tyres, dunno why but gave it a go, looks pretty good, just another thing to be unsure about lol
  5. Not much of an update, brough some Carbon sheet to have a bash at covering my Dash panels. Not the best, undecided as to if its going to stay yet,
  6. Full exhaust system, Cams and a larger intercooler would give you a small power hike, but for a set of 264 cams, you would need some mapping done i'm sure. Its all about the gains in mind against your budget i guess, i cant say much as i'm all about NA power (Currently gathering parts for ITB conversion) lol Nitrous is a good shout, not seen anyone on here running it though? Failing that, improving the overall driveability of the car woud be a good shout, but you have it covered already!
  7. KW's are supplied without top mounts, 16 point rebound and 12 point adjustable compression Damping, Stainless Steel Inox Twin Tube design, fully height adjustable and TUV approved with optional Spring Rates available also. Tein Mono Sports, are supplied with Reinforced Rubber top mounts, 16 point Dampening Force adjustability, Steel ZT Powder Coater Monotube design, fully Ride height adjustable and EDFC Compatible with optional spring rates available. I have never used either kit but both have their own pro's and cons i guess, if you need pricing, let me know.
  8. Important Delivery today, my ITB's arrived. That gives me half a complete set. Need to tear them down ready to link them together, Not sure how they're going on yet, may need to bastardise them to fit Lol
  9. KW are supposed to be pretty good but i would expect to pay around £1300 ish for the V3's We can supply KW if anyone needs pricing...
  10. I know right? I still find it oddly entertaining though lol
  11. Fortunately mine had a drift passenger ride at Donnington the other week. She decided we need to buy a car and learn to drift it lol Who am i to say no to another project car...? Haha..!
  12. Subscribed...! Love this thing, me and the wife have comitted to having a crack at this drifiting malarkey and have picked up a cheap BMW to have a go in Looking forward to more updates
  13. As they are to fit the LHD car, you have to shape a pipe to clear the steering column. So i'm told...
  14. Just for info, a colleague of mine has found a link to the XERD Headers on the MVP website; http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=787&SearchYN=N
  15. Looking at whats left of the label, they could be Type HA or Type HR, both of which were released in the mid 1990's i believe. Doubtful if you can even get parts for such an old kit anymore to be honest. I have the Tein Street Flex on mine with the EDFC controller and Whiteline Sway-Bars. The Teins are at the budget end of the scale to be honest. Works well for me but these are the first set of coilovers i have ever brought... It all depends on your budget though and what you are asking from it. There are loads out there. If i had the Cash, i would have gone for Cusco, really well built bits of kit.
  16. Cheap as Chips! I was thinking of an Xerd one to use with my ITB build but i cant find anything on them anywhere....
  17. More Parts for the Head, Seals etc....
  18. Any more on this? Love the way it is going, makes me want to hurry up with manual converting mine so i can go skidding!! Also, what bonnet vent is that?
  19. Sweet, thanks for your help..!
