  7. My thoughts too, i considered an NA-T but pricing up everything from the Turbo bits to the general overhauling of the Engine quickly stacks up the £££'s (Even for me getting cost price on parts) But here i am blowing my money on an ITB build
  8. Thanks Matt, yea I have heard of them, we had some development work done by them when we fitted some GSXR ITB's to our Suzuki Ignis Race Car. May see if they can sort the Manifold out... Only problem is shipping, I wouldnt want to buy it blind, I need to raise the funds at the moment too, i have no budget this side of the new year... No worries, Having a look around, seeing who has done what and how they got on. I have a fair chunk of reaserch to do i'm sure. At the moment, shopping list is growing, • Custom AE111 4age ITB manifold • 5 Speed manual conversion • Xerd Manifold • AEM Infinity or similar • Twin De-Cat • Velocity stacks • Camshaft regrind • Brian Crower Adjustable Cam Gears • Gates Kevlar Timing Belt • Brian Crower +1mm Valves • Brian Crower Valve Spring Kit with Titanium Retainers • Port Regrind/Polish • Heat Barrier Inlet Manifold Gasket • Thicker Head Gasket to Lower Compession • Alloy Rad • Low Temp Thermostat
  9. I had only ever owned manuals. I originally wanted a manual Supra when looking to buy, but with my budget being pretty low and missing out on a 5 speed NA i just settled for the Auto. To be honest, i think they are pretty underated, i was massively impressed and can still move when she has too! Manu Mode is different but still keeps it fun on track. However, my current plans for the car mean i now want a manual conversion. I have spent and done too much for me to sell up and buy a complete manual only to do it all over again....
  10. Thanks bud. Not really worried. Its different, I have a plan for other supporting mods to go with them so wont be just these to bolt up. For NA, the power is in the head (So i'm told). My aim is to have a well spec'd head to help. Not sure how much power thats going to give, but big power isn't really my goal.
  11. Exciting day! Just received my final set of ITB's thanks to fellow forum member Justin Beiber Began stripping them down for the main inlets. Swapped a linkage round so they can all be linked together and wound up with this, Just need to look at how they are all going to mate up to the Manifold. Possibly going to need a custom flange making and then welding to the original intake runner...
  12. That looks good tbh, maybe something to get later down the line. Not focusing on the body too much at the moment, gathering cash and parts for a manual conversion next year and then I will be pressing on with a Head build.
  13. Thanks dude, not sure if I like the front Lip or not. If I was to get one, I'd have to get Skirts and if I get those, then I have to get a rear Diffuser lol Thanks again, Funnily enough, I've never polished it. It gets little more than a wash with Car Shampoo, seems to do the trick so far, Metal Polish is on standby lol
  14. Had a few pictures emailed over, Real happy with how they turned out
  15. So I met up with my friend and Matt from Car Throttle He is having some pictures taken of his Nova Saloon for a Retro Rides Magazine feature. Grabbed a few snaps of mine, just waiting on them to be edited and he will fire them over for me. Sent me a teaser... Rest are on the way
  16. Yea I know, its grown on me, still want it back to black at some point...
  17. Just used a Tyre Marker Pen, easy enough to use.
  18. Gave the old girl an intensive clean today, Clayed the Paint and Waxed... Have my pal taking a few snaps tomorrow so I decided to pull the front plate off ready too, Looks a lot cleaner with it gone. Second set of ITB's are due to arrive next week too.
  19. I wanted a manual but missed out, insurance was the biggest downfall when i initilally looked, but you need to shop around. once i got a quote for my J-Spec with Sky Insurance, i knew it would be a go. 12 months later, i have done a ton of work and mods, all declared and barely knocked the premium up. (I also pay monthly for insurance)
  20. For me, i had wanted one for a while, had some money but the insurance prices killed the idea for me. Ended up spending the cash on building my track NA MX5. However, the urge for one never went away. 12 months later, i came on here, got insurance info, sold the MX5 and started hunting. All just in time to snatch up a J-Spec NA Auto as a late birthday present to myself. I didnt care on the trim or spec, just wanted one...! lol
  21. So i wont be racing now, i have a few bills to sort and house to save for.. Anywho, i have my OMP FIA compliant Race Boots for sale. They are a UK size 10.5, brand new and worn once for a test fit. Rrp is around £140 Looking at £80 delivered, no offers. Pm for more info,
  22. Did you build the Supra's? They look good! Mine is getting there slowly, supposed to be getting it to look like my real one. Got the Tein suspension and rear end fitted lol
  23. Me too! Although i preferred to build the War hammer than actually play it lol. They're good kits, can never fault a Tamiya product
