  1. Hey all, So as per my build thread, I am fitting a set of 4AGE Black Top ITB's to my Supra. The mechanical side of the project isnt really an issue, but the ECU/Mapping side of it is all new for me. So my question is, do i really need a standalone unit? Or would a Piggback suffice? From what i can figure out, all it needs to do is compensate for is the removal of the Idle Air Control, Intake Air Temp Sensors and control the fueling too. The ITB's have a Throttle Position Sensor fitted already so that can be wired in. Is there anything i have missed? I think i may need a wideband Air/Fuel Gauge too,
  2. Some nice clean cars there buddy, I only saw about 4-5 during my trip to Japan last year...
  3. Flange outline and bolt pattern is all laid out on the the Alloy, will make a start at cutting the excess material of tomorrow.
  4. I managed to stumble upon those threads, everything seems relatively simple so far. Just the electrical and mapping side of things i need to get my head around, plus find someone who can do the mapping and Tig welding
  5. Thanks guys. Manual isn't a must for the ITB's, but its something i want. Would love to fit an LSD later down the line and do a few drift days [emoji4]
  6. Been up and down with where I am going with this. Was looking around to sell up and move over to a Nissan 350z.... Anywho, I have been talked out of it by many people including a few Supra owning friends. I have listend and debated to myself on the matter, looks like she is staying... I havent been up to much lately with it and have started to gather parts to press on withe the ITB build. Took delivery of a Turbo Throttle Cable today from Paul Whiffin so I can hook them up to the pedal (when ready) I have also sourced a piece of Alloy to fabricate my own Flange. I gave up with the idea of using AT Power, mainly down to budget reasons. I am sure they would do a fantastic job at making what i need, but there would be a price to pay that I could do with spending elsewhere (like on a full W58 conversion (waiting for Keron to step in when he gets something) I have been doing my reaserch and found a more in depth build of Brendan Tafts ITB Supra in the US (LRGSOUP) He did the same as me, custom Flange Tig welded to the OEM Runners. I found the below pic which gives me an idea of where it will all best line up with the 4AGE layout; So, I have the metal and some cutting and drilling to do, but will be taking my time and getting it right first time. Measure twice and cut once...! I am tempted to knock up another Flange, if it works, then it is here if anyone else wants to do the same kind of build. Anywho, I have knocked up a super sketchy template, mainly for an overall size and layout guide of the Flange, the actual Drilling and Porting side of it will be a little more precise... So thats where i'm at. Will make a start this weekend so will update as i go. Parts list seems pretty simple looking on Brendans build. Just leaves me to source a Vacuum Log and some velocity stacks to hook up to the car ready. Manual conversion is a must. I have also read the TPS sensor uses the same plug, which I ned to look into and check the pinout etc. Other than that little lot, ECU needs to go on and an AFR meter to help with the mapping side (compensating for IAT and IAC sensors being removed I think) As allways, any input is most welcome
  7. Last parts for my mp5 came today from Hong Kong, needed a bit of fiddling to fit, but spot on now. Feels and looks completely different, torch is spot on too... Roll on next game!!!
  8. Thanks Paul, will drop you an email when i'm in the office today.
  9. Thanks Paul, can i have a price including delivery please?
  10. As above, looking for a replacement accelerator Cable from a Turbo model. Must be complete, undamaged and good working order. Thanks..!
  11. Would any gains be noticable though? I have been looking at a couple of options, one is 6.11kg, the other is 4.53kg (although i am not sure of the OEM Flywheel weight)
  12. Looking into manual conversion on the Supra and was wondering about a Lightweight Flywheel to go in with a new clutch. I was wondering if anyone has done it? and also what they thought of their Supra afterwards? I have looked about and hearing mixed reviews about it.... My thoughts would that acceleration would be vastly improved as there is less rotating mass but you would loose overall top end speed? Any thoughts welcome.
  13. Most site's have the facility to rent weapons dude
  14. Finally got round to relocating the battery to the stock. Had to strip the whole thing down to reroute the wiring... Thought it would be rude not to get the paint out whilst there and get rid of the awful Blue colour, End result with the new 2 point strap. Also have some more parts on order that should land in the next 2-3 weeks
  15. Let them in, stick all fighting age males in basic training and then ship them home to fight and get their country back.... Once safe, we will return their wives, children and elderly. Would mean any of our troops out that neck of the woods can withdraw too
  16. First time I have ever seen those words put together lol
  17. Hi Ian, I don't have the rear seats or seat-belts i'm afraid. The roll cage has a diagonal brace and wont allow fitment of the seats. The cage is bolted into place with 16x bolts. I would be happy to remove it and reduct the price if you were genuinely interested. Let me know.
  18. No worries Bud, they havnt gone anywhere yet
  19. No worries. We have a Greddy eManage Ultimate and Universal loom on here for sale too at a good price. For the throttle bodies, i have both the manifolds that they were fitted too that can be used for the flanges if you can find a welder that can weld cast alloy.
