1. Not managed to get round to completing the manifold yet, but i have given the ITB's a lick of paint All 6 done..
2. I have for sale a pair of Brand new, unused, FIA approved, OMP One-S Race gloves in Medium Size. Retail for about £100 Asking price is £60 posted Pm for more info
3. Off work this week so hoping to get the manifold mocked up and ready to weld up. Todays task was cutting the OEM runners down, That done, i offered up the flange. The branches all need to be flattened down a little so they're all the same height and so the flange can sit on it squarely. Also noticed that the end branches are off line a little to where i need them, so another job will be to try and get them positioned correctly before i grind the branches flat....
4. Trying to move a little further with my ITB build and have reached a point where i need to weld my flange to the manifold. For this, i need someone who can Tig weld them for me. Looking for someone who is pretty local and can do the job right. Both parts are alloy (obviously) Anyone on here in the know? Or perhaps can do it on the side? I would be eternally grateful..!
5. Thanks bud, cant wait to hear how it'll sound Thats a great point, thanks for the heads up!
6. Got the last of these bolted up to the Flange yesterday evening. Really starting to enjoy this little build, Next up is to mark out the ports using the old gaskets and then check the position of the flange on the manifold ready for cutting. After that, i need to cut the ports on the flange and find someone to Tig weld it to the manifold. Also added a Vacuum distribution Log to the shopping list to help balance the vacuum between each inlet. Currently there is only 2 ports, one at the first and last throttle body. I will have to blank these ports off an add my own into the manifold.
7. Well, i have managed to get another one fitted and checked the new cable for fitment. All seems ok. Managed another but never got a snap. So just leaves me with 1x more left, then i can start boring the holes out. Also ordered up some Stainless ARP Nuts and 12point bolts should land in a few weeks along with the new throttle gaskets. Also need to invest in a decent Dremel and a boatload of grinding stones....
8. Bargain at that price bud, have them on mine and great with EDFC thrown on GLWS!
9. On the subject of brakes, do the Lexus 4 Pot Front Calipers clear OEM 17's?
10. I think that might be the case, or maybe with some fender rolling and flaring...
11. I fancy getting a set of 17" OEM ones, put some sticky rubber on them and keep them for trackdays....
12. They are quite aggressive from what i have been told. Found this on Supraforums after a Google search, says it is the same size, width and offset;
13. Managed the second one but calling it a day now, Super chuffed so far but still much to do...
14. Finally had a spare couple of hours to myself in the Workshop (shed) I had read that the 2JZ and 4AGE Throttle Position Sensors use the same plugs and pinout, so i confirmed the plug by trying it for size, Perfect fit..! And quick google search confirmed the pinouts are identical. So after that little bit of motivation, i began shaping and drilling the first section of the Flange. 1x down..! First test fit was a success, although i still need to bore out the centre... Taking a moment to let the drill recharge, then i should have the second one fitted up.
15. Pics now added. I have the weights somewhere too, will dig them out...

17. Determination and Perserverance are the key, after it got wrecked i remember saying its a shame that its going to waste... Glad to see you are set on bringing it back, will be following with interest
18. Welcome! I know who's car that used to be....! Good to see you putting the time in to bring it back.
19. Wee little update, lots of cutting made today and the Flange is starting to take shape, Trimming and filing to do, but the Rugby has started so that'll be all for today...
20. Fair point, i suppose there would be a greater level tune ability with standalone too. Thanks for the offer, but i may have something lined up I guess it could be controlled by other means, maybe within the mapping/fuel?
