What? Guys I was just pointing out what I thought seemed like a good car for a first time supra buyer. Im not trying to advertise if that's what you are getting at. I was just excited that such a clean example had shown up and thought it may be of interest here. I have my own supra and am perfectly content. Couldn't care less if the above advert sold or it didn't. Remove one of the posts if it's causing so called suspicion Will make sure to keep it to one post in future.

Hey guys, Thought this may help someone out. Found this totally factory spec 6 speed vvti RZ supra for sale. Just shown up on Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Sup...8AAOSwFqJWqiaD I have personally dealt with SVA imports in the past when I purchased my Nissan Silvia S15 and they did a great job with it prior to collection. Seems like a really good example. Great for anyone looking for a first supra I would say. Put this in the sale section as well as found What are your thoughts on this?

Yeah I've got a pops/bangs map, but it was set to my low boost map at the time.

Cheers bud, just didn't notice before. Always best to get a second opinion

Hey guys, Was out in the supra today running low boost and traction control on of course. Just curious, but noticed that occasionally upon de-acceleration the exhaust seems to create a pop noise. Now I am aware this is the norm on some of my maps setup on higher boost settings, just wondered if this can occur on 1bar boost. Setup on car is as follows: Supra 93 single turbo 6 speed. Single turbo borg Warner 6266 twin waste gate. Uprated turbo dynamics blow.off valve. Whifbitz 264 cam shafts. Full decat. Hks silent high power exhaust. Syvecs s6 ecu, fully mapped on tesco 99 super unleaded. Toucan display with 6 map presets and traction control. Any help and advise is appreciated.

Im off to Japan this year with my mate and just wondered where the best places to go are for cars/car scenes? Really looking forward to going. Looks like you had a good time at the car show.

Yeah it's not cheap lol. To be honest though I didn't buy it out right, I did buy now pay later with whifbitz.
-
Hey bud. Yeah it's far better with the single setup now. Boost comes on just under 3500rpm and she flys. Also strangely enough the single setup seems to be the safer bet in terms of reliability because it can safely take more boost. Be aware though you will need to consider supporting mods, such as bigger brakes and uprated pads, uprated clutch. I would definitely recommend the spec stage 1 clutch with this setup, it's sooo easy to drive, takes very little effort. Overall I would say in the long run you save yourself money with the quality of the single kit. I always had issues here and there trying to get more power from hybrid twins when I had them, plus I had to get a syvecs ecu just to map them.

Underseal & rust prevention garages in London or Berkshire area?
supra_24 replied to uzzyuzzy's topic in Supra Chat
Hey bud, whifbitz did my underseal and did a good job to. They are London based. -
Hey bud, I have just had this kit fitted to my 93 supra. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/garage-whifbitz-2107.html Garage Whifbitz T4 twin wastegate twin scroll single turbo. Turbo is Borg Warner S300 SXE. I had it mapped by Litchfields and syvecs and it made 660bhp on Tesco's 99 pump fuel.
-
Yeah cranks more than it did with the standard ecu. Sounds like it cranks 3 to 4 times and then fires up. So like crank, crank, crank, crank, fire. Runs perfectly after initial crank startup. You wouldn't have any ideas on the black soot either mate would you? Been told its carbon and moisture build up in exhaust?

Hi guys, recently had a single turbo conversion done on the supra and a syvecs ecu fitted and mapped on tesco 99 super unleaded/V-power. Car was mapped at Litchfields Dyno with the help of I believe Ryan from syvecs. I had a Garage Whifbitz T4 twin wastegate twin scroll single turbo kit for the Supra fitted and setup with Borg Warner S300 SXE turbo. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/garage-whifbitz-2107.html Silent hi power hks exhaust. Full decat Syvecs S6 ecu Brand new 450 fuel pump. Car only run on V-power and tesco 99 super unleaded. New uprated spark plugs etc. 2 things I have noticed that I just wanted to run by you guys for peace of mind is the following: 1) With the mapped syvecs ecu on cold startup, the ecu takes a little longer to intially crank the engine, compared to original ecu. Is this just the behaviour of syvecs to crank around 4 times after turning the key and then starting the engine? 2) I have also noticed that there was a bit of black dry soot around the exhaust and covering an area of ground near to the exhaust. The car recently had sat for about 4 days during christmas period before being started up again. Is the soot build up normal or does anyone else experience this? Someone did mention carbon build up and condensation in exhaust, especially if it hadnt beenn run for a long journey in a while. The car has been mapped at Litchfields via whifbitz and syvecs and was double checked over to make sure everything was spot on. Car runs fine and drives/idles smooth. No smoke of any kind from what I can see. Any help and advise on this as always is appreciated. Cheers.

Hi guys, Just had some new led tail lights fitted. I have one resistor fitted behind the lights themselves, but no resistor was fitted behind the dash where the fogs are connected to a separate switch. The dash is now constantly displaying a bulb warning for the rear lights. Would the missing second resistor be the cause of my bulb warning light? Or is this related to another issue? Any help and advise on this would be appreciated. Cheers.
