They both do look good, the bomex would go with my side skirts so would work, yet it looks a lil bit "sticky"out that's why I want to get rid of mine, find it to long.. Redox looks simple yet it works not to over the top and with a removable number plate added would work, I've seen them both for sale bout the same price (£150) but doubt it comes with fittings, cheers J and Lee about fitting that would be helpful, Il have to find somewhere that will spray it, also need to redo the back where it's blended in

I know there veil side skirts, few pics of my profile and Basingstoke meets, have been a fan of the do luck tbh lee, haven't really seen ridox tho, just down to the fitting

If I had the tools and knowledge I would mate, pain in the ass, they are now going to repair the cat and put ur back on, so I've got the 3" decat still, do I keep or send it back -

I got the first decat from Paul this week, 3" that one was, the second decat/box was already fitted on the car and I haven't measured it, but from what I've seen underneath I'm pretty sure it's 3" as well, the manifold is standard, I'm portsmouth way mate, hopefully the car is done today and il sort something out for you -

J, From today il be running a full decat on the NA, my back is an HKS Silence, and it's not that loud tbh, makes a lush sound through the tunnel or an inclosed town (petworth is a joy) plodding along on the motorway it is quiet, I know what you mean tho you don't want the corsa sound of a industrial bin sticking out -

Cat looks fine just rusty, it's the flexi looking bit from the cat that is split/ nasty hole in it that's leaking gases, so it failed the mot on that, from what u and Chris is saying, I mite as well get a decat pipe from Paul and replace the lot, and replace the pipe where the 2nd use to be

Cheers Gray il send him a message, I only have a first from the manifold, the second has been removed, but the pipe looks pretty crap tbh could do with being replacing that also, I presume if they fit hrs they should fit mine lol

i presume Chris that will solve the issue, the garage did suggest trying to plug the hole, or try and weld it but he wasn't confident in taking it out due to the age on the bolts, but that would only fix the issue for it to get it through the mot, but I'm sure a while the hole will just "return" what's the best de cat pipe to use?

Hi all just after a it of advice for a replacement part, my NA just had an mot, past with flying colours, part from an issue with the exhaust gases leaking from the flexi pipe from the manifold to the cat, I've managed to have look underneath in the garage and can see a nice hole, my local garage have spoken to Toyota for the part and they came back with A ridicules price of £700, before even the garage touching it, is there anyway of sourcing this pipe, or something similar that isn't over priced? Anyone else had the same problem Cheers Ash
