  1. You should also budget in getting everything very finely dynamically balanced, including the camshafts.

    S4 or RS6

Nah. If I went for an M5 it would have to be an E39 for the budget I'm looking at and they're all cracking on a bit now in terms of years and mileage. Also looked at E55 AMG mercs, but I just don't like the styling of them.

    S4 or RS6

Cheers guys. Test drove an S4 today. Was absolutely superb and would fulfil all of my requirements. The only problem is that I keep thinking if I went for the S4, I would keep wishing I'd gone for an RS6 instead. I quite like the look of this one... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201125393159673/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/12000/body-type/estate/model/rs6/make/audi/page/1/postcode/ox281bz/radius/1500?logcode=p

Were there any problems with it Jamie?

    S4 or RS6

Well now that I've sold the Supra, I'm looking at getting either an Audi B6 S4 Avant or a C5 RS6 Avant. Has anyone here had any experience of either? Does anyone know of any buyers guides etc? Many thanks!
  6. I really don't get those kind of silly prices. Surely no idiot in the world is going to spend $6k on a TRD steering wheel. Why do companies like that even bother?
  7. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?250544-640BHP-Blitz-twin-turbo-6-speed Breaking this should net quite a good profit...
  8. You COULD care less? So you like them? OR do you mean you couldn't care less? (ie you don't like them) Sorry it's a pet hate of mine.
  9. Tell them it's for a track car...
  10. Nope. Webber Vettel Alonso Massa Button Di Resta Should be quite an interesting race.
  11. You can add a lateral G sensor to the syvecs and then use the TrackMap/Make command to generate a track map. There are 3 ways of generating the map. Distance and lateral G, GPS or GPS + lateral G. The only thing is I don't see how you can add a GPS input so I would probably opt for the distance and lateral G.
  12. I have a '96 Citroen ZX Avantage (estate) that needs to be scraped. What's the going rate nowadays?
  13. You're absolutely correct. It was the point I was trying to make back when this thread was originally put up. Putting a -6 AN fitting into the port without an O'ring won't seal correctly. You need an 9/16 UNF fitting with an O'ring to seal to the FPR. The other side of this fitting will go to whatever size hose you've got. So if you have a -6 hose you would use a 9/16 UNF to -6 AN fitting.
  14. Paul DiResta qualifies 6th. Get in there!
  15. Bump before it goes on e-bay...
  16. The ignition chimes, whereas the headlights turn off automatically on mine.
  17. It's the very first of the new revision of the S8 4Mb. I wanted to go for an 8Mb, but it would have meant getting the older revision as they're only available as 4Mb now. It can yes, but it's a hardware build option. There are lots of things you can choose to have. Haha, you git Chris. I'll start a new thread rather than fully self hijacking my for sale thread.
  18. Try pin A5. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?104072-Aem-engine-warning-lights&p=1324807&viewfull=1#post1324807
  19. In fact here you go... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?104072-Aem-engine-warning-lights&p=1324827&viewfull=1#post1324827
  20. 1. No 2. No, there's a pin you either connect to live or unplug from the ECU. 22b sounds vaguely familiar, but it was 7 or 8 years ago that I did it. I'm sure it will be listed on here somewhere if you do a search. (I think either Wez or myself put a post up about it) 3. No. Just bin it, it's doing nothing for you now. 4. Only if you configure to be as such. Yes the triangle will be on because of the trac light. If you sort that out the light should go out.
  21. Cheers buddy. A bit more complicated than the S6 for sure, but a lot more capable. How about individual cylinder ignition trim self learning? That's in there. No idea how it works! As you know it's always difficult when you're the first to try these things and there are always a few gotchas. It's just a case of listing them down and working through each one. I would say with the same map ported over it feels smoother to drive, but I'm sure that's just a placebo effect. Either way, lots of fun ahead!
