Actually no. I do not have a bias towards bikers.i speak from being in biker circles and from my personal experience. There is a difference.

You couldn't be more wrong. Unique could mean many things. Do you want a race replica? Mimic a 90's stroker? Street fighter? Stock standard. Do you want a stock standard looking bike with built internals pushing sbk levels of power? Cosmetically sure there is no variety as there is in the car world but being "unique" has many other connotations. Speak to any seasoned or experienced biker and he can enlighten you.

Ah nice. I'm glad we have so many opinions and some debate. Just to reiterate I was not picking on supra owners.

I have been riding road bikes since i was 9 years old. In the past, my daily use to be my 2002 yamaha r1. I joined r1-forum.com and obviously followed the same modus operandi as we all do on the forums ie.learn, discuss, talk shit, etc. However I found with bike forums the community is more individualistic. Most people choose to go their own way in terms of modding and what we want out of our machines. Now bare in mind when I sold my bike in 2011 I stopped visiting the forum so maybe things have changed but this has been my experience. I have only taken any interest in car forums since owning my supra (2 years now) and my experience thus far in the car community (not just the supra community) is most people just want to follow what everyone else is doing and are swayed by public opinion. so what do we think? Have car owners lost their appetite for creativity? Has the car modification scene simply evolved to where it is now? Interested to see where this discussion goes.

Yes recently I was blowing the dash fuse because the horn wiring was iffy. I suspect this is what messed it up. I'm having it checked tomorrow to see if it can be repaired. thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated.

hello all my speedo stopped working a few days now. i opened up the dash and took out the cluster. at the back where the circuit/wiring is i noticed on either side there is, what i assume, to be damage. please have a look at the pictures and confirm for me please if this is why the cluster is not working. both fuse boxes where checked and all is good. also to clarify, ALL the guages are not working. it lights up fine but none of the guages are working. thanks for any help in advance

The horn slip ring. You have to remove the steering wheel to get to it. I can send A pic if you need. Also out of interest what do you want for the complete lot of what left on the car?

and a few more...now saving up for a turbo conversion. not going the engine swap route because imo its not worth the hassle.

Its been a long wait and after being messed around by 2 paint shops I finally got my car back. The paint job is not perfect and there are alot of imperfections which the pictures do not reveal. Its been painted united grey to match my wifes Golf 6 R Pics today after a full WAX
