  1. As mentioned above, there is no link to fuel cut. I would imagine you have the bog standard RL settings, they may be inducing injector cut where you don't want it. See the thread started by Phil Wall for new users of RLTC, I know he would be interested in your settings. (Edited by Dipstick at 10:01 am on Mar. 19, 2002)
  2. I think Graham is reluctant to let it go public until he has sorted out the glitches with the monitoring side of the package.
  3. It is my understanding that the Jap and UK rear drum shoes and pads are the same and interchangeable on the MKIV. May be there is a difference on the Soarer. (Edited by Dipstick at 11:10 am on Mar. 8, 2002)
  4. A certain importer south of LONDON, sells a lot of cars on part used tires. It is never advisable to drive a high power car on anything you know nothing about. Part worn tyres could have been really abused and could be years old you just don't know. I always wonder why someone would get rid of a tire with 6mm of tread all over. I got rid of my part worns after a week, saw cracks in the side wall not as bad as above. My tire supplier said the manufacture stopped supplying the Yoko's on my car about three years ago. The last time I saw cracks like those mentioned above was on a 5 year old spare on my caravan, it had never touched the road. Get em off now, they are very dangerous, as Stu said it is your life, but might be some one else you take with you. If you get in a smack with that rubber the police will investigate and you could be on your own for mega damages at the very least.
  5. Full Memeber sounds bettter IMO.
  6. But it is worth seeing more than once.
  7. There is a page on MKIV.com that shows how to make a system running two stocks BOV's. I presume for higher boosting cars.
  8. Any one know the tech differences between these rads and stock? (Edited by Dipstick at 10:33 am on Feb. 14, 2002)
  9. I think you will find find that guys in the states that use power braking reqularly have had the tranny fail due to the heat build up in the fluid in the converter whist braking with modded cars. Dont hold it for too long. IMO one or two should not do any harm with a stock car.
