Having just drove from London to Leicester. I forgot how comfy they are!! Think I will keep them now and try and get them trimmed to be original as possible

Toying with the idea of selling my confettis. These are the genuine Supra ones with wider shoulder support and the flocked harness holes. The drivers bolster has a hole from wear getting in and out of the car so was going to get them retrimmed in black leather but I feel it could ruin them so instead of retrimming them in leather it might be a better idea to move them to someone who wants the oem style and replace them with recaro trendlines or recaro speeds. So what’s the value of these now? I will probably keep the frames and also have a spare replacement upper foam

Here are all the ground points. Worth a check. Can also try disconnecting them and cleaning up with scotch bright to remove any corrosion for better connection. Simple things you can do before for free before spending money on labour etc

After the pic of the fault codes as said in a previous post could well be an earth as there is afew faults that don’t seem to be related in any other way.

Do u have a multi meter? Maybe start by checking crank position sensor and can sensors etc. Simple check measuring resistance. My first Supra wouldn’t fire. Garage couldn’t figure it out and I took it off them. Check the sensors and the crank position sensor had failed. Fitted a new one from keron got me. Cost about £90 and sorted it straight away

Update once again. More stuff done! Feel like I’ve been working my ass off but starting to see the results! - fitted a new mishimoto rad with whifbitz coolant pipes and oe Toyota thermostat. - new apr cooling panel - ally expansion tank from SRD - finally got the bumper back from the body shop and got that fitted at the weekend - fitted new HEL braided lines and refurbed the front calipers with new discs and pads Starting to come together now Won’t let me add pics for some reason. Will try again later

Unfortunately because of the age of car things like this are becoming more common. My last Supra the vents didn’t drop but around them the dash kind of warped and lifted which is a common problem. I guess the best solution is to fit a sun shield on inside of the windscreen or a car cover.
