Is it possible to get a supra on finance or are they too old with high miles?

Was just wandering do people use their supras daily or just to play with on a weekend??

Putting a six speed manual box would definatly increase the price of an tt aerotop!

Is it possible to to change the auto box to a six speed manual on tt? If so what's involved. I guess it's more than just a transmission swap?

Cool. Right then I don't mind what I get then as long as I get a nice TT in good nic. Would preferably get one BPU already as I'm restoring an old rover p6 so can't really afford to doing much playing around with a supra at the same lol

That's me pretty sold then. Don't really mind what I get. Auto or manual. Has to be tt though. Arnt the jap cars less powerful though or are all the imports pretty much sorted. Looking for one around the 380-400bhp mark (uk model with BPU) - is that correct?

Thanks for the replies. Can you change down manually in the auto has it got a kick down sort of style - which my old 5 series auto had. Also are imports any good. I know there are some differences between nap and uk cars. I would ideally like a manual uk car but are the imports just as good?

Hi I'm a new member and currently saving for a supra. Looking to buy in the new year. I obviously want a twin turbo and preferably an aerotop (if aerotops are available in tt?) budget of hopefully around £8k I have been reading up on them for a while. I preferably would like a manual but wouldn't say no to an auto, so I was just wandering what the auto box is like to live with - is it a tip tropic? Etc I have read that manual aerotops don't exist in tt? I know they are pretty bullet proof but is there anything to keep an eye out for? And now the question I guess everyone asks!.... Actual real life mpg? Haha I'm not fussed about the mpg in all honesty - just curious And finally I'm a big fan of forums and owners clubs. I always join them and try to buy from fellow enthusiasts - even my dads transit haha so if anyone is thinking of selling a twin turbo in the new year let me know Thanks Tommy
