  1. This is why I was asking lol and hopefully others will see this and not get the eBay stuff. I know things on eBay are alright and some shit
  2. I was just looking to replace the big fan. Make it look abit moderner
  3. Oops already pm'd. Phone him tomorow. What sort of price does he charge?
  4. Sounds just like a bearing wearing out. I will give him a shout.
  5. Anyone had any experience with the electric fan kits? Wandered if this would be any good or anyone have any experience with them? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221046618872?redirect=mobile
  6. Had a poke around does seem to come from power steering pump. Anyway to fix it? Or a new pump is it?
  7. Have abit of noise from my belts or pulleys? Maybe bearings? Noise speeds up as I go faster. Sorry I can't give anymore info on it but has anyone else had a similar experience or an easy fix before I take it garage? Cheers Tom
  8. runs a liitle rough but thats because the cowboys of green flag broke the clip that goes onto no1 coil pack so the connecters are exposed and possibly might be shorting a little. ordered a new clip so waiting for them to arrive. going to take the spark plugs out and give them a clean aswell
  9. Awesome I looked on the site £88 bargain Just need to check the fixing points for the fan cowl as it's given me 2 options. One is £88 one is £105 Cheers buddy
  10. Ok the car has started! Disconnected the battery for an hour or so (had already tried to reset the ecu the other day by removing the fuse) Rolled the car back a couple of feet. Also disconnected and reconnected the plugs under the auto gear selector just in case maybe it wasn't getting a good signal to say its in park. Reconnected the batt and it fired up

    eBay rads?

What do people think of these radiators? Anyone fitted one or recommend any? For TT auto obviously will get a cooler for the auto box This is the item I have been looking at (Sorry it's just the number. On my phone) 220762557691
  13. Another update. Had some jump leads on it just to see really and managed to get afew pops while turning over but still not starting
  14. So it does sound like an immobilser fault preventing it from sparking then?
  15. Would the immobilser prevent it sparking though? I thought the immobilser prevents the starter cranking? Rang clifford anyway and the person didn't have a clue they just said we could try servicing it for £150 I also have it booked into a garage for Monday
  16. Yh that start bit was the price I was on about I think. Still new to this engine so still learning. No codes The only other thing could be ignitor or immobiliser on the clifford?
  17. Sounds like a massive ball ache. I've read quite a lot on the Internet that it slips quite abit. Is 'keyed' together but can come apart and people often weld it back together
  18. Ok sorry ** update ** Pump is running Turning over no spark I still haven't seen the car myself since Sunday and won't till Friday. After more hours of being on google I too belive it's not the immobiliser. I read one thing that may confirm the fault on a us supra site I think. It mentioned about a rattle noise that came from the timing belt area that jogged my memory from the other day, maybe a week ago. I heard a little rattle after a little investigation and a start or two later the rattle seemed to have cured itself. I've done over a 100 miles since then and everything was good until I want to start the car on Sunday night. The site says this little rattle turned out to be a washer from behind the crank sprocket?? So I belive this could be my problem as mentioned in the second post. If this star has become fully detached Could this ultimately cause zero spark? Would it not just spark at the wrong time? The Rev needle doesnt even slightly rock when turning the engine over. The only other thing I belive it could be is the ignitor but would this just fail all of a sudden or break down over time?
  19. Is there a how to?? Still new to this engine. I reckon it has slipped. Car won't start has no spark. Been doing a lot of googling the last couple of days and just found something that has confirmed one of my suspicions. A little rattle noise I noticed the other day that I belive to be the washer that sits crank timing sprocket?? What's the best way to get to it what needs to come off so I can get to it. Take it off and get it welded? Cheers Tommy
