  1. Great feature that, nice full spread. Well done.
  2. Nkce write up and good thread. I applaud you for doing so openly what most of us are thinking haha
  3. Just hand sanding?! Bloody hell. Get them in a washing up tub with some bleach (or brake fluid) for a little while and then remove.
  4. Couple more from Instagram. One shows a lot of the interior, battery in the back although that can't be a permanent location?
  5. The fact they're doing all this work to put everything right/do everything correctly shows the standard of work initially wasn't good enough. Shame you had to go down the legal route to get it resolved.
  6. This is one seriously busy engine bay. Not much room. Plastic covers galore in the production version maybe? BMW logos proudly on display... From supramk5 on Instagram.
  7. Yep I've used them and Amayama in the past for parts. Aftermarket and OEM. You'll generally save money despite the extra customs/shipping fees, depending on the size and weight of the package.
  8. Not a for sale ad. After a ballpark.
  9. Everyone else hates these posts as much as I do then....
  10. I know horsepower isn't everything these days as power delivery is much more advanced but that's pretty disappointing isn't it?
  11. Appreciate that mate. Blood, sweat & tears have poured into it but it's finally where I want it to be.
  12. There's some awesome roads up there!
  13. I utterly hate these posts so apologies in advance! What would you guys say the current value of my NA5 is? Build thread in my signature but the main details are: Na 5spd manual import. Approximately 220k on the clock (mixture). Thorough service history & folder of receipts. 19 Lenso wheels, new Toyos on the front. Rears aren't far off wanting replacing. Recent tidy up & underseal (this year) although no rust was present. Rare Speedwell low level spoiler. Ridox front bumper & skirts (grams). Custom LED rear lights. LED sidelight rings. Mines ECU. Confetti seats. Custom exhaust, double decat. Port & polished intake, throttle body & y branch. SS air intake (SS filter). Magnecor leads. New battery. HID kit. EL-Glo dials. Made 232 this year on the dyno with a very healthy performance & torque curve. Boxes of spare parts worth £££ - spare rear lights (for mot - leds don't have reflectors), spare aftermarket steering wheel, brand new interior dash chrome rings, loads and loads of other bits. There's loads of stuff I've missed and this isn't a comprehensive write up just after a ballpark. It runs & drives like a dream the only negatives at the moment are that it's SORN as I'm currently abroad & that it has no MOT. It passed it's previous MOT the second time of asking as first time round and the headlights were badly oxidised, I've since replaced these. My plan was to leave it in storage long term (since this September) but I might be away for much longer and it not sure if I want to just leave it sat. Apologies for lack of pics as I'm on mobile but there are plenty in the main thread on my signature and other places on here. Cheers.
  14. Good work (you are the main man at these after all!). I made a set of these as per the link in my main signature, and there's a few images on my main thread. About 18 months in and they're still going strong.
  15. Not just you grown ups with turbo's who are going to be reaping the rewards either. I paid £2800 for my NA-5 about 4 years ago, I've put it into storage for a year and will be asking around the £8k/9k mark this time next year or early 2020.
  16. Sounds like an awful situation all round. Seems like you have been pretty fair with them although that experience of a garage outsourcing work to another painter is something I had with mine, maybe pretty common? The work on mine wasn't done to a good enough standard and the interior & engine bay of mine was screwed with as well as being absolutely filthy. Ultimately I got mine sorted without having to go down the legal route but I'd advise you to keep speaking to CAB.
  17. This will be the last pic & update for quite some time. Took the car for a blast last weekend and it's now gone into storage as I'm currently heading to Dubai for a couple of years. Hopefully values continue to rise before I'm back!
  18. Aerotop for sale https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Tigra-1-8-Sport-Coupe-Convertible/283150879516?hash=item41ed1b8b1c:g:H1IAAOSwfBFbeC6b Selling the wifes car as we're moving abroad. Have reduced the price a couple of times and it's now very cheap as time is against us. From the ad: Selling on behalf of my wife as we're moving and no longer need the car. This has been a great little runabout while we've had it, lovely car to drive for both short and long trips. The power roof works exactly as it should and is awesome on nice days and the car has heated leather seats for when it's a bit cooler. The boot is surprisingly big so it's fine for shopping and trips away. 1.8 Sport model which means you get more than enough poke for a little car, metal sports pedals, 17" alloy wheels etc. All of the fluids are as they should be, it's had a new battery in the past couple of years as well as new number plates, new fuel pump, new O2 sensors, and new tyres. One of the rear tyres will want changing in the next 12 months. It's obviously a 2005 car so do not expect brand new, the drivers seat bolster is a little worn and there are age related wear and tear marks on the car such as scuffs on the wheels and so on. MOT until June 2019, some service history and receipts. Owners manual & instructions are present. Never been crashed or raced or modified. Selling cheap as we're moving away, no warranty implied or given. Payment by cash on collection.
  19. Great work, but also preferred it without a spoiler. Tidy job though
