  1. Looks a little on the small side. I like the 'double bubble' roof design, helmets in mind maybe.
  2. Will do. I've got a 1m x 1m sheet (not cheap) but plenty to play with.
  3. Oddly enough I have just received a sheet of exactly that. I was planning on shaping it to protect a cold air feed from heat from an aftermarket manifold, I'm sure it can be worked to make some kind of engine bay box/cover, as per here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?302082-Axle-Destroyer-3-4-Titan-Stroker/page21
  4. Yeah don't worry about it, how will they know who or where to send the fine? I'd imagine you can only get fined if caught at the time.
  5. There's a guy on Facebook called gt4play or something that sells refurbished ones.
  6. Fantastic pictures, keep meaning to get one of those cupholders myself
  7. Makes sense. New pump does indeed have the correct studs as opposed to bolts. Possibly a bodge in previous ownership somewhere down the line.
  8. C mate definitely. A is a bit plain, B is a bit busy. C would be the best.
  9. Just PM me with a price please, it's your item. Will need to be posted. Thanks.
  10. Wanted: GE top/front engine cover. Will be chopped to join to a clear belt cover so condition isn't absolutely critical.
  11. Relatively freely. I have a new pump, fan clutch and a thousand other bits too. Once the pump is removed are there any markings to show whether it's OEM or not? Any recommended tests to identify the issue in case it's related to anything else?
  12. Normal coolant as far as I remember and I'm not aware as to whether it was oem or not
  13. Non aside from the unit itself, shroud, clutch and belt. Well at least as far as I can tell
  14. Thought you chaps may like to have a look at what happened to me earlier this week. Basically my water pump jammed somehow causing the viscous clutch fan to shear itself straight off the shaft, slicing a belt and obliterating the fan shroud into roughly 1000 pieces. Absolutely no idea what caused it but luckily for some reason I had the foresight to have ordered a new water pump just before Christmas. Luckily I had just made it to the spray shop rather than hurtling down a motorway or something. Answers on a postcard as to what may have caused this. (replacement clutch, belts and other bits on the way to go with the new pump).
  15. Most excellent reply, will try those. Thanks very much!
  16. Evening. Does anybody know of anywhere in the UK that repairs Mines ECUs? I have one for my NA that has an unknown fault so could do with sending it off somewhere to be looked at and possibly fixed. I have tried Litchfield as they're listed on the Mines website as being authorised UK dealers but they don't do that any more. Any suggestions please? Thanks
  17. Couple of minor updates, car has gone into the paint shop for a full paint correction. I couldn't get it done quite right so getting it perfected by the professionals. Also getting my TRD strut brace repainted in matte black, as well as some engine bay box/covers that I got from Al Massey. Also to be done in matte black. They're also painting some rear numberplate surrounds for me and I'm getting them done in the same colour as the car. I like the look of them but have never loved them in black, so colour coded will look good I think. After it's back from the paint shop I'm starting to gather up a huge bundle of parts to fit. So far I've got; - Headlights that will be fitted with some goodies I'm getting from Noz. Top secret for now. - Rear LED lights that I'm doing again and correcting some errors from last time. - All black silicone main engine hoses. - Zircotec heat shielding for the cold air (induction) feed. - DEI Titanium heatwrap for the OBX manifold and second decat. - Mines ECU (plus one that needs repairing) - Either a Motoria 4" exhaust or 3" Powerflow one (will both be dyno'd) - Brand new waterpump - Magnecor competition HT leads - New dizzy cap and arm - LS400 front brakes & braided lines - Gates racing belts (both) - Iridium plugs - New crank pulley - All other pulleys (no bought yet) Plus a load more that I can't remember for now! Exciting times to actually have the end in sight, last time I used the car for driving pleasure and took it to meets and so on will be coming up to 18 months or so.
  18. Yup. I ordered once twice by mistake though. Just 1 of everything (including the top one)
  19. Great stuff, will have a look later. Did you manage to get any Super GT pics?
  20. Nope, not for a long time. If and when it is it'll be in the for sale section.
