  1. Absolutely perfect, that thing is a thing of beauty.
  2. Wonder what these may fit then? Turbo?
  3. Evening all. Bought two sets of rear pads for my jspec na a couple of weeks ago and I'm nearing the time get them fitted. Have just compared the two and they are a little different. Both EBC, one greenstuff and one ordinary. Which ones will fit? Or both? Cheers
  4. Great stuff thanks mate. As for problems with arches in daily driving, I suppose a lot of that would depend on the quality of the spacers in the first place?
  5. Current width is 9j I think, not entirely sure on offset but they sit flush and it's a jspec na
  6. If I win some money/a long lost rich relative dies I'll be in touch. Don't get me wrong yours are beautiful, I just think I've not thought this through properly haha. 265 existing on the rears so a high quality set of 40-50mm spacers should do it.
  7. Jesus. Amazing wheels mate but that is only a tad less than I bring in a month lol. This may get more expensive than I had hoped.... Wheel spacers may be the way forward I think.
  8. Aha! So Kaan yours are 12" AND a 20mm spacer?
  9. Chaps just one more question, ideally I presume I want to be searching for 12j wheels if I'm reading the info right?
  10. Thanks guys I didn't want to ask for an idiots guide but yeah that's pretty much how I needed it explaining to me! Cheers
  11. Afternoon all. I am soon to be fitting Veilside overfenders front and back, with the rears inparticular increasing the width by about 50-60mm. I am relatively clued up on wheels, stud patterns centre bore etc, but what do I need to be searching for when looking for that extra width? Or could I run it with spacers?? (heard bad things about those with bearings though). Cheers
  12. Minor hijack infringement... Kaan how do you find the blended body holds up with general day to day driving? I've seen a few different cars locally with blended parts and it always seems to naturally crack from flexing?
  13. Aside from the bubbles it sounds pretty much exactly like mine is mate, which I think is screwed. Topped it up with fluid temporarily and getting a replacement fitted in the next couple of weeks.
  14. That is absolutely true. As for these door defenders, save yourself some dough and go and buy a couple of lengths of Climaflex/Tubolit pipe insulation and use that. Same thing! Not that I'd ever use them in public though. Round here it would just give people more reason to try to hit my car on purpose.
  15. Continuing the DIY repairs I am undertaking, I carried on with the spats last night and tonight. The fibreglass set very well as always, I used much less than when I repaired the front lip (see previous posts) but it still set brilliantly. I got them to a nice smooth primed finished but ended up swapping for some Veilside spats so as to match the skirts, as per the next post.
  16. Fantastic thanks Nic. I am pressing the like button repeatedly at you.
  17. They are off and in the process of being repaired mate, just about shattered for tonight but will upload some progress pictures soon! Haha genuine fake
  18. Does anybody know if it is possible to still get these brand new from MrT with a part number? Mine is pretty old, worn, damaged and want to get an altogether new one rather than messing about with a second hand one. Cheers
  19. Nice bits! Looking forward to seeing how the plastidip works out on the wheels mate
  20. I'm on my 3rd kit so far in about 3 months, costing me £3 all in but per kit yes if I keep going this way and keep finding imperfections you're right I'll definitely have to buy it all separately!
  21. So, time for some serious work. Spats are off and need some proper repairs as the fitting was off, I didn't like the reflectors, and there are cracks and damaged points on them. Excellent stuff used to remove the adhesive used to stick them on, as well as the remaining adhesive material left on the back of the spats. Obviously this needed to come off in order to get a nice fit when putting back on; Serious heat damage from the exhaust on one of the spats, as well as repairing this I will also need to think of some way to prevent this in future; Sanded back to make a better bond, shows how bad the crack is; First few patches of fibreglass being applied; Extremely good kit, and I get it very cheap through work! Next up test the bond tomorrow on all pieces, then sand back and get to work on other slight damaged sections on them. The were originally screwed in which was secure but unsightly, so I'll be filling the screw holes in and then it's a case of prep for painting and re-fitting. Cheers
  22. Looks stunning mate nice to see another 199 na looking so tidy and well looked after
