  1. Evening all. I have recently replaced a Defi temperature sensor for a generic one, and so need to recalibrate the gauge so it reads the correct temperature. The standard dash gauge reads fine but with the car having aftermarket EL dials it doesn't give an exact reading (and I'm anal about that sort of thing). So what (in degrees) would the temperature be for an NA if the needle on the dash gauge is sat comfortably in the middle? Thanks
  2. Subscribed! Looking forward to seeing the full ad....
  3. It might be the washer mate. To be honest with the wheel wobbly too I'm just going to order a replacement one and hope it's better than the last one. Plus I'm away tomorrow. Taking it on a 4 hour drive. ...risky
  4. Bloody everywhere haha. I've topped it up with leak sealer, and will be ordering a new unit tonight.
  5. Starting to see a few small air bubbles when I dip the cap in and out but still no bubbling up
  6. Afternoon. Currently have my car on axle stands so as to sort what I think is air in the power steering system. It's also been leaking bad. I'm doing the engine off lock to lock thing and if I've read previous threads right, the fluid should overflow? Mine is just staying at the cold level and not overflowing at all, and I'm not seeing a great deal of air bubbles either. Main question is - if it's not overflowing, what's wrong with it? As for the leak, can I use a power steering leak sealer? Thanks
  7. Now you've got me worried haha. I'll keep an eye on it mate hopefully it's sorted though.
  8. It had a few stored mate, from the plugs and leads getting coolant all over them, me driving it with the plugs in wrong, and a couple from previous problems. Either way it is definitely driving as it was before
  9. All sorted! Turns out the ecu was full of errors.

    Rear lights

I kind of like them. Different to anything I've seen before
  11. Friendly mechanic still has the car, thinks it may be a fault code that needs clearing via the port

    Rear lights

    Different from the front too
  13. Not sure mate, although the leads were in very good condition so I'd imagine relatively recently

    Rear lights

Anybody ever seen these before? Certainly different.
  15. Still no news. Has been sat in a friendly garage for the past couple of days, should hopefully be looked at tomorrow in between his existing bookings.
  16. Yes mate I actually changed the plugs for brand new ones and in between thoroughly cleaned the plug sockets etc. Also removed all the leads and cleaned them up too, and they are definitely in the right order.
  17. Hmm. It has just developed an odd stutter while driving through town, almost slightly struggling for power. Any ideas?
  18. Definitely ressy swap tomorrow.
  19. Basically mate had a leaky system so replaced it all. The replacement pump is fine, the reservoir is not. So I need to switch over the reservoir tomorrow
  20. It's whining so much it sounds like I've got boost lol. Sorting it tomorrow mate. Not the best weekend but it happens mate. Tomorrow is another day etc
  21. Wow I've seen this on Facebook, lovely colour
  22. Lol yep very happy especially with how much I'm spending on external parts!
  23. It's alive it's alive! Did everything as above, and it's pretty much sorted now. Tiny vac hose leak which I'll sort after a quick sit down.
