  1. I have a tendency to over tighten stuff. Must be more gentle. Question, on the right is my faulty one, on the left is the replacement. It looks completely different, will that create an imbalance between left and right?
  2. All sorted now guys thanks to Bignum but thanks for the offers and assistance etc
  3. The Air Diverters are lovely, they'll suit your car Hassan. Al it must be months since you got yours!
  4. Because without a good condition one to send back and cover the surcharge that £84 unfortunately becomes nearer to the £100 mark, which is too much when I have just paid for a replacement one for a fifth of that.
  5. Hi mate, the blue one doesn't post an awful lot on here I don't think. I have also seen him driving about and got invited to a car meet at a local McDonalds...........not my scene. There is also a black one that I don't think is on the forum, a silver one who is Jon/James who I think is on the forum. Ellis' is about the best you'll see, very very nice. Mine is my daily and currently going through what I'd call a TLC overhaul, I drive through Lincoln from Monks Road to Hykeham every day so you may have seen me about.
  6. Fellow Lincoln person! Welcome!
  7. Have pm'd Keron, in the meantime if anyone has one please pm me straight away. Daily driver so need one urgently
  8. Thanks bignum. Budz thanks mate but I think the problem is that where it's disintegrated is too far down to retap it if that makes sense?
  9. Guessing it's not driveable at all?
  10. I am swearing loudly. Daily driver too. Jspec bud
  11. Replacing brake discs, got it all back together, caliper has just disintegrated where the bleed screw goes in. Not enough thread left to get another screw in there, is there anything I can do temporarily or is it simply not driveable until I get a new caliper???
  12. Cheers budz. Nice one swampz will do mate.
  13. Beautiful. Thanks all, will get it done one evening this week.
  14. Any great need to bleed etc or just a case of old ones off and new ones on?
  15. Sod it then bud I'll get it done myself. Guessing once I get into it I'll remember how to do it.
  16. Evening all. I have some new front discs to fit to my na, nothing fancy just a straight swap. Have been quoted £70 cash by a garage to do it, or is it something pretty straightforward that I can do myself. Not swapped discs for absolutely ages and can barely remember it. Cheers
  17. Looks good mate, keep it NA! I'm doing something similar with my engine bay although the parts are currently red, I was deliberating going 199 to match the car too but think I'm going to go for something a little wilder. Florescent or something.
  18. Loved x-men first class and I thought the newer Wolverine movie set in Japan was superb, definitely wasn't as excited for the newer one though. Nice that it's not been subjected to a reboot yet though! Heard nothing but good things about the Lego movie, didn't get round to seeing it though. On another note I was tidying up some books earlier and remembered how much better the World War Z book was compared to the film. Not bad in its own right but far too much was changed from the book.
  19. Just looks the same as a paintwork job done at home, as I have had this a few times. Basically don't panic - you are just at the halfway point. Much more sanding, polishing and buffing required
  20. Haha no mate, at least I don't think so. I do genuinely think it's a superb film, got to be watched all the way through though. Tough to make a good trailer for a complex mish mash film, but it does work as a whole.
  21. Love the cold war films too Digby. Final recommendation from me for tonight, just watched Ghost Dog - Way of The Samurai for about the 10th time, one of my all time favourites. Forest Whitaker in a different role to normal, and a good mix of different ideas and cultures. Relevant to me at the moment as I'm reading the Hagakure, but a very good film.
  22. Some of the faults you've picked out in the Raid could possibly be due to it being directed by an Englishman as opposed to a native of the country. Still good 'turn off the brain' movie though but as you suggested, a little less 'focused'
