  1. It's been doing the rounds on Facebook recently, isn't there also a UK owner who has done the same?
  2. Ffs. Was hoping I would be able to seal it. The absolutely infuriating thing is that after the problem with the passenger side one, I only finger tightened this one.
  3. Unbelievably and incredibly I have repaired/replaced and fitted everything (sourced the correct caliper in the end) and took it to a garage today for a seal of approval and now the drivers side one has a miniscule hairline crack near the bleed screw bit. Can this be repaired using a high strength metal epoxy type product or do I need yet another caliper?
  4. Surely the most reliable of all would be the stock gauge? Thanks nic, although I may just totally remove the set up
  5. Exactly right, short 2 mile drive and the stock gauge is exactly where it should be.
  6. Yep all connected as it should be, it's just a basic plug and play one to be honest
  7. In the top rad hose mate. I rewired it today and it's a new sensor and new sensor connector pipe. My main question I suppose is that is it possible for the coolant to get that hot that quickly?
  8. Evening all. Just started my car tonight after a few jobs over this week and let it run for 5/10 minutes. The engine temperature defi gauge went up to 120' and started sounding an alarm, whereas the stock temperature gauge was reading normal. The coolant hose connector where the sensor is did feel pretty hot, but surely if it was that hot I wouldn't be able to even touch it?
  9. Supra prices in the US are absolutely mental, there was a dog rough NA on one of the facebook pages a few weeks ago for something like $15k, which even after exchange rates is still phenomenal.
  10. In 10 years when everyone has gone turbo conversion and I'm the only one with a manual NA left I'll be laughing all the way to the bank! Possibly.
  11. As above. Could be something daft like a vac hose?
  12. That's definitely wrong, my na pulls much better than that sounds. Give it a full service and refresh everything

    Own up

A fellow supra owner in Lincoln, not many of us. John I think is his name, sure he's on here
  14. No updates again for a while, but just an update on what I've been doing. Got some upgraded discs and set about fitting them last weekend. Unfortunately where the bleed screw goes back into the caliper, I think I overtightened it and broke a corner of the caliper off. Fail. So it's been off the road all week and I've taken up cycling again, something I've not done for a while! Few explanatory pictures; Starting off well; Decent wire brushing to the hub to remove residue; Iffy problem with pistons; BOOM, that is the bleed screw, removed, with half of the corner of the caliper also removed; Not good. I have today got the other side done though, and it only took about 20 minutes. Very easy job, and looks much more up to date; Also decided to remove the rear spoiler, not filled it yet as still undecided what look to go for.
  15. How did you get on Jacky? I did mine today. Taped up for now, will get it smoothed and filled once I decide 100% I like it, then going to make my own! Ignore the stance, still on axle stands
  16. Never heard of those tyres mate but the wheels are lovely.
  17. Dnk is it literally just those 3 holes on each side? Doing this myself this weekend also. What size grommets?
  18. Mate if it's tiger seal then it will 100% need abrasive removal and repainting

    Rear lights

MOAR. Blue one right at the back on the left seems to have them. No idea what country though.
  20. OK thanks guys. I will look at replacing both for like for like
  21. After a bit of Googling I'd be inclined to agree. Would this then create a problem for me? Will it actually fit?
  22. Pistons etc are the same and it all lines up (bolt holes etc). Fitment looks the same it just looks like a different type
