  1. Evening all, One probably for the bodywork/paintwork experts. I have an explosion spoiler bonded to my bootlid, and have a buyer for it as I'm changing the look. To make it easier for me, I want to remove the spoiler from the bootlid. However as I said it's bonded on so I'm not sure if or how it can be removed. Does anybody have any experience of this, how easy it is and so on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Can get some better pictures later in the week if needs be.
  2. Will look lovely with those little bits painted black mate as said.
  3. Idea was good as you say, just ended up being very much like a run of the mill American teen slash type flick with twists not as clever as it thinks they are. Typical IMDB ravings and ratings.
  4. That the one with the camera? Forgettably average.
  5. I'm on about 18 months but hoping after changing cars lots over the past few years that this will be a long term car
  6. Just got mine wahey! Didn't even realise I was in it, absolutely buzzing!!!
  7. Yeah it's too far out mate, wound it out way too much. Will sort it next weekend.
  8. I'm not sure of that's just because it's wound so far back in
  9. Just been trying that with every bloody tool I've got haha. Will keep trying
  10. Anybody have any ideas? Really struggling
  11. This is the spring position at the moment
  12. I think I may have loosened it too much, as it's not moving back into the spring
  13. Just changing my rear brake discs and calipers and adjusted the handbrake notch thing behind the hub face. I'm refitting everything now and I read somewhere you need to adjust the notch thing all the way back in, then back down around 6-8 times. However it just keeps going, doesn't seem to be hitting a tight point. Do I need to do this with the handbrake on? Am I spinning it wrong? (up and away from me)? Any help would be appreciated!
  14. Yeah I'll go with 40kg. I lifted and fitted it on my own and it was bloody heavy
  15. It's this particular one, difficult to judge the weight because of it being bloody impossible to see where it's bonded etc
  16. Lovely, thanks. Spoiler and whatever it's bonded with should add about 10kg then I'd have thought.
  17. Evening all. I need some best guesses please. How much would you say my bootlid, with glass still in, and fully bonded explosion spoiler would weigh? Stock bootlid and glass unless I'm mistaken is about 25kg?
  18. Following with interest! Although a little part of me is crying inside, one of my favourite ever Supras.
  19. That colour is seriously nice

Don't know a great deal about the car but I bought a bootlid and spoiler from Kelvin and he was a top guy to deal with. I think it was close to being sold for parts by Mo until thankfully a few people chimed in and told him it was way too good for that.
  21. Very nice mate, stunning colour
