  1. Just bought an oem jspec plate holder anyway, just means I need to buy a new front plate.
  2. THanks! Thinking about getting some spacers on the standard wheels, maybe lowering a tad. Yeah, I thought it might be tacky also. The UK specs have a standard plastic plate holder don't they? Might try getting my hands on one of them.
  3. I really don't like the front number plate and the fittings that are used, would a stick on vinyl plate look OK?
  4. Well its not done it yet. Bloody thing. Its preparing for something else to go probably.
  5. Thanks tim. Will do and report back
  6. Nope, only ever at idle. As soon as I touch the throttle it disappears until its back at idle
  7. Well it does seem to be the idle control valve. Only ever makes the sound at idle, and is more of an "instant" sound, it doesnt matter what revs the engine is at, the alternator would surley make a different sound depeding on speed. The alternator seems to spin with the belt off smooth as silk, certianly doesnt indicate anything is wrong with it, and im not having any power issues.
  8. Its going on a banger rally anyway. Its a bit of a shed. The noise doesn't even come from the alternator, it comes from the throttle body Already seen it thanks though
  9. Not even going to bother then if its the alternator guys. Its going on a banger rally, we will just pray it doesnt fully fail on us haha
  10. With this in mind, should I keep my Supra OEM or BPU it. hmmmmm.
  11. This is also a Rev 1 N/A! Didnt get a look today but going to be investigating tomorrow.
  12. Thanks for the input guys, ill have a look later, at least I know where to start now!
  13. I have a TRD panel filter. Dont think its washable though...
  14. Hi Guys, Going on a 4500 mile trip with the mr2 in a month, and its started making this loud noise (only occurs at idle) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0NnUKCiTAM What could this be? Never heard anything like this before.
  15. Changed the fluid over with Dexron III. Came out as a thick black sludge, once fully flushed through its now perfectly silent
  16. What I really want it the black inserts like it has now, and simply have some clear lenses instead of the ridged effect they have. Might have to give it a go, but then its not an OEM item
  17. Ah I see. I wouldnt mind some facelift lights, not sure I like the UK Glass units.
  18. Thanks for the comments guys! Skippy, I thought the headlights were standard?
  19. Hi Guys, Went out for a drive tonight and I got back to notice the car makes a "laboured" sound when steered from lock to lock, sometimes the steering wheel "vibrates" during low speed turns aswell. The power steering fluid is all topped up etc. What kind of job is it to replace?
  20. Thanks mate, I plan on just changing the rims over in the future (keeping these) but apart from that im keeping the OEM look I think.
  21. Dont think ive ever posted pics of my Supra here before, heres a few after a major clean today! Nothing special, just thought i'd share (BTW, the off side rear wheel is due to be colour matched to the rest, it was a replacement)
  22. Has anyone seen a Honda S2000 boot release? Supra is easy compared to finding that!
