    When i connect up the E1 and TE1 pins to look at any stored fault codes all i get is the orange engine management light flashing really fast constantly. This cant mean i have non fault codes stored surely as A: i have no auto gearbox connected so that would throw a few B: i have the diff cooler light on as i ditched the cooler so would be a code for that C: Ive have speed signal 42 code since Ive had the car, another one! So whats with the fast flashing fault code? Is it a special code as i have too many faults to store :D

    I dont know the fix for your problem. Just be very carefull with rad cap problems as i had a rad cap fail on me and had to rebuild my top end due to a vacuum being created in the system which inturn caused overheating and warping the head! And it didnt even register high on the temp gauge!

    I remember years ago i saw a supra featured in max power "800Bhp Single Turbo Supra" With a small picture at the bottom of his engine bay with stock twins

    Whilst fitting my carbon dash kit i thought i might as well swap the auto rpm dial facia for the 6 speed one (to get rid of the Park, Drive, Neutral symbols etc) So i took the needle off and canged the facia but now the rpm counter is moving really slowly. Its at the correct reading (Well just about!) and the needle is free and not catching anything at all (ive made sure a about million times now) Have i fooked it? It went with a really big "snap" when i pulled the needle off. I even though id broken something then!

    I can do datalogging on my laptop but my laptop battery dies after about 5 mins without AC lead in A couple of the coilpack connector clips are broken (i.e. they dont lock on) but they have been like that since i got the car 4 or 5 years ago. The coilpacks are 130,000 miles old?????

    Ive changed the plugs last weekend for brand new IK 24's It happened once after changing them and then was fine all day. Today - Its happening again in every gear (don't know about 5th or 6th as that licence loosing territory!) I'm really fed up of it. Was fine all last year and since Ive brought the car out this year its started happening (or since going 6 speed??) Ian, I don't have an SAFC no, the only thing plumbed into the AFM connector now is the Intake Air Temp sensor for my map ECU. Which has been there since i went single :shurg:

    After all the modifying i still have time to appriciate a standard(ish) UK 6speed! Lovely car mate. Someones going to get a nice motor here

    The first 40 brackets have been done FOC i think Imagine there will be a delivery charge though. The only thing that needs paying now is for the actual aerial unit GB in the other thread

    Since going 6 speed (well i think that's the underlying cause) Ive been hitting the rev limiter at about 5500rpm. Initially i thought plugs. I Put brand new IK24's in and it happened twice when i went for a drive after changing them. But, after that it didn't happen once and i hit just before the redline every time. probably about 10 times i tried it. What do you reckon guys? Is it the fact I'm still on an Auto ECU? A Loose connection somewhere?

    week before last i spotted a white standardish looking supra sitting in the hard shoulder after being pulled by the police. Anyone got some new points?
