  1. Wouldnt have thought so! You have a S-AFC at all? Apexi promote the fact that there unit cures erratic idle problems associated with vent to atmophere bovs on cars with MAF sensors. I have a S-AFCII waiting to be installed but havent had the time to do it. Hoping it stops my car from stalling anyways.
  2. my fault as didnt look at your spec
  3. Sorry all, should have pointed out that this is only a problem with UK AUTOS!
  4. Because us Uk'ers have a Mass Aif Flow sensor. When the bov dumps the air to the atmosphere the ECU thinks that this air has been recurculated back into the system (But it hasnt!) Problems assosiated with this will be stalling at low revs! I live with it and you can learn to stop the car from stalling by trying not to pull of quick (making boost) and then braking hard! Thats the only problem i have!
  5. I will go for the Barrel side i think now as thats where i have routed all the wires for the gauges. Is there a constant feed wire over that side where i can tap in for the defi controller wire that has to have 12v going to it all the time so it keeps its memory? Cheers for all your help Matt/Ian Scott
  6. Cheers matt. What colour wire am i looking for and where should i be looking? Around the Ignition Barrel? Scott
  7. Ah i see. So any chance of hitting the 400BHP mark? Im thinking 0.7 to 1.2 = 0.5 bar 5 x 15Bhp = 75 Plus the 326 i already have!! Ya gotta be positive about these things aint ya! :D
  8. what sort of BHP (flywheel) should i be expecting to get from 1.2bar? My engine and my gearbox have had a full rebuild (new turbos too) and i would consider it all to be pretty strong now. if that makes any difference?
  9. I should be there! 1. millhouse (All weekend) 2. Paul E 3. mawby 4. leett(all weekend) 5. Sherriff 6. Gaz from Envy 7. Supragal? (If I have my car back) 8. CJ 9. Tim 10 Dude (poss whole weekend , shirts permitting !!) 11 Ray 12 jay supra66 13. VeilsideTT
  10. Hi Matt. Should this not happen then? The guy who installed the system says that its some "Accessory Delay" thing or something. When i shut down it leaves all the Accessories on until I open the door (or if i sit there for about 10mins). I asked him to stop it doing this as its quite annoying but he said if he cuts the wire my intelli start wont work properly as all the Accessories wont come on as the wire is cut. So no pre cooled supra on a hot day if i did that will connecting to the ignition side of the immobiliser point work then even though my Clifford does this "Accessory Crap" when i turn off the engine?. Scott
  11. Hummmmmm I will have to ponder on what i am to do when i get the controller and AFC set up i suppose. Im feeling 1.2Bar on one setting and my daily use setting would be 1bar. Its just annoying as ive got the boost bug now and ive hit 1.05 and cant really see that going to 1.2Bar is going to make a whole lot of difference with the AVC-R........ Or Will it??????? DUDE, Were you asking me if i was going Japfest or asking JB?
  12. excellent! When i get the FCD, AVCR & SAFCII installed i was going to run 1.2Bar max. Am i being a bit of a pussy or will i kill my turbos past that? Is the Stock fueling any good at handling over 1.2? Whats its limits?
  13. Will try and make it quick Im UK Auto 3Row FMIC Full De Cat Nur Spec EGR R.I.P IK24's running on Optimax only. Boost Gauge Reading 1.05Bar Max. Unsually 1bar. ive hit Fuel Cut Once (@1.05Bar) Waiting to be put on when i find time: TRL FCD, Apexi AVC-R, Apexi SAFC-II Basically, Am i pushing my luck running this way without the nessecary controllers or can the stock UK ECU handle what im currently throwing at it without the engine Detonating?? Also if it makes anydifference ive just fully rebuilt the engine with a brand new shortblock. Scott
  14. Hi all, Im fed up with my Defi oil pressure gauge beeping at me when I sit listening to my stereo with the engine not running. What I need to do is find a wire that has 12v going through it "ONLY" when the engine is running so that I can connect the IGN wire of the Defi control unit to. Then it will turn my gauges off as soon as I shut the engine off. Ignition position wires are no use to me as my Clifford alarm leaves everything switched on (Heaters, Radio Etc Etc) after turning the engine off. I thought about the fuel pump wiring but im not sure that’s a safe route to be taking. Are there any other wires around the centre console area that I could use as that’s where my control unit is situated? Cheers Scott
  15. Ive seen a few people on the supraforums had this problem and it was down to the odometer not sending the signal back out. Aparently bad connections in side the odometer! One person resolved this by connecting a peice of wire from the input to the output wire thus still leaving the original wiring into the odometer but also making sure the output was getting through. ???
  16. Yes UK i am! I also have no active spoiler. Done the TRL mod to stop the Spoiler light flashing! No1 speed sensor is on the gearbox output transmision shaft isnt it? Worth changing it or not?? I like my cruise controll you see and this problem is stopping it from working some of the time. Scott
  17. pulled the code. comes up with code:42 (no.1 speed sensor) Any ideas peeps, Common Supra Problem or Not?
  18. Wouldnt mind going for this one again. Just missed out on "Best in show" last year to that bloody red scooby!!!
  19. Dude, Will i be OBDI or OBDII????
  20. Hi all. For a while now my O/D light starts to flash now and again for a few minutes. It can go a couple of days without doing it and then it will just start up for no reason. I know it does this if you pull the Trac fuse. But i know i havent ever pulled my Trac Fuse (Not sure i should be admitting that!!) and my ecu has been reset too. My Overdrive still works fine but ive always had a bit of a problem with my cruise controll. I can imagine the two problems are related. Someone suggested in a previous post that it was a speed sensor problem??? (Search button used thank you) ive had a full auto box rebuild and it did it before and still does it now. Aparantly i can pull the codes somehow to see what the problem is. Does anyone know how i do this? or is it done through the diagnositics port? I have the workshop manual, is it in there? Thanks Scott
  21. 400BHP If this is the case then is that what an "oil catch can" would be used for??? Excuse my dumbness!! I have this problem too, i pulled of one of my intercooler pipes and there was this horrid murky oil residue on the inside of the pipes. dread to think what the inside of my spanking new 3row core looks like by now!! Every mortal part was taken off my motor and cleaned before she was rebuilt with a new shortmotor! Use new tubbys aswell so it cant be that! I can well believe the "breather System" theory! Scott
