  1. It's not designed to be watertight, it's just to dress the screen against the body and eliminate wind buffeting. The glass is bonded in, which is where the waterproofing comes from.
  2. Search the part number on Google Phil, and you'll find them available from the usa [emoji1303]
  3. Liking the look of those buddy [emoji108] Definitely interested to see them fitted once lit up and calibrated
  4. To be fair I've just checked the part number, and that price does appear to be for genuine parts?
  5. They are probably copies, and not genuine sumitomo
  6. From what I've seen, the lower runners have to be welded to them as they don't bolt up and seal properly, and the throttle body is probably trash. I can't speak from personal experience though
  7. Is that a piece of copper plumbing pipe used as an oil drain?
  8. I can tell you with certainty that my brother had an a45 amg, and that thing flew!
  9. I've got clips here mate [emoji1303]
  10. We all have to learn mate, but at least you tried, failed, and learnt [emoji1303]
  11. It seems he made his own gasket from aluminium sheet, instead of just buying one. Multi layered steel gaskets should pretty much last forever, aluminium is not suitable for exhaust gaskets. This isn't a question of whether these cars are worth the time and investment, the problem was caused by inadequate materials being used.
  12. If Alex isn't selling his, I also have one
  13. When I did mine, I disconnected the tube behind the passenger floor trim, and plugged it there.
  14. You've got no chance mate. Incredibly rare part to find now!
  15. There's a chap on Facebook who's just 3d printed some. From Germany iirc
  16. The blade? Yes mate, and end caps
  17. Fitment is perfect, I make them. Will require full prep and paint. Can do it for £50 plus postage
  18. I can do you one. I have them in stock
  19. Also try contacting Matt Bolda on Facebook. I've seen mixed reviews about Stu's stuff, but everything I've seen of Matt's looks spot on. But, Moman are very good, and you can customise the look however you want.

    Water in Boot

Check the body lines above the rear light clusters. Where the rear panel meets the 1/4 panels, the seam can split, allowing water in. Pull the rear lights and boot trims out, and pour water around the perimeter. You'll see immediately if water enters the boot area. A small smear of sikaflex or similar will cure it.
  21. They can be purchased from ASH. http://www.autosiliconehoses.com/carbon-fibre-pipe-45-degree-elbow-hose-joiner-black.html
  22. Did you try unplugging the solenoid on the auto shifter mechanism? I changed out my shifter mech recently, and found that the ignition key wouldn't release. I unplugged the solenoid and it's now fine
  23. I've recently refurbished my dash panels in the facelift style colour. It's not perfect, but very close to oem. I mixed the paint to my own recipe [emoji41]
