hey guys took the car to my mechanic friend today! gave me some bad news. he thinks because the temperature only goes up when im booting it ( under pressure ) he thinks its the head gasket. the coolant and everything were all on correct levels and looked ok ( not rusty as first thought ) the pipes also got warm so he doesn't think its the thermostat as it would over heat all the time if it was and wouldn't come down when i came off boost. how much am i looking at to get this repaired?? I only purchased the car last week from a private seller, am i within my rights to ask for my money back? thanks B

il try that tomorrow, just to be sure the picture i took of the engine coolant bottle, that is the expansion tank correct?? I really need to get myself a workshop manual lol i would be interested in taking the coolant off you though ? thanks for ur help

no, you can put it down with the ignition on but as soon as you start the car it goes back up and only comes down around 60mpH i believe. I have pmed a guy on there that i found when i searched active spoiler that makes the switch .

afternoon, I read somewhere you can pull a fuse when the spoiler is down to make it stay down. does any one know where this is located? cheers

lol yea, very unmolested only done 58,000 miles still has a restrictor at 112 i think it was :/ 4 owners. its the 3l twin auto GZ model with the funny spoiler at front its the best one i could find that had not been modified and abused thanks for the welcome
