  1. hey chaps, had my supra about a year now and I can honestly say its best car ive had! do we have a supplier on here of toyota service parts? oil air and fuel filters? Planning on servicing and putting a 12 month mot on it and bye bye , it was recently on eBay but had a lot of time wasters. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/t1/1456088_10152417875881038_1274848528_n.jpg
  2. ok great im guessing it would be the smaller of the 2 disc size options then 268 i believe?
  3. ok cheers, come pics ... https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/922676_10151938290696038_765938226_n.jpg
  4. Afternoon bit of a newb question im not sure if i have 2 or 4 pot front brakes as i cant see the circles :/ lol i have the 3l twin turbo import 93 any one sugest a good place to get a good price on some discs and pads for the front ? Cheers Billy:)
  5. ok guys update new rad fitted yesterday and shes working perfectly now, no overheating problems at all. relieved isnt the word! thanks for all your help and advice
  6. no worries il flush the system out when i get a new rad next week. thanks for replies
  7. new symptom found today, overheated on motorway so i put my heaters on full to try help and it started blowing cold air??...... but i just got back in the car now warmed her up without overheating it and its blowing warm air.
  8. Morning Chaps! I am after suggestions on a new rad that will fit my import auto twin turbo. standard one has a built in oil cooler i believe so im after some good suggestions on what I should use. to mount the oil cooler ive been told the old mini exhaust hangers are good as they have a rubber part to take away bad vibration to avoid damage to the rad/cooler
  9. took car to a good garage today, they are very confident its not the head gasket. they recon even though the rad has had a flush its going to be the internals of the rad. with it being an automatic im struggling to find after market one with the oil cooler built in at the bottom. does any one have any links to any rads that will fit? thanks
  10. no the fan seems to work fine , i can make it overheat so quickly. it can be middle temp then i put my foot down for 10 seconds and il watch it move.
  11. ok update ; all hoses replaced , new thermostat / rad cap..... had the radiator flushed and the garage said they don't think there are any blockages as water was flowing out very quickly. took vehicle onto motorway, foot flat to floor ( past little stopper so it pretty much red lines it ) and the heat gauge slowly moved up 3/4 of the way ( i could see it move ) and i then backed down and it went to normal. im guessing thats not normal ?? if i had stayed with my foot to floor it would go into the red........ starting to think more towards head gasket but i have no smoke or oil in coolant.
  12. i asume you mean run the car for 5 mins with the cap off
  13. scooter i appreciate your help, i do want the hose quickly. but i think visiting some local stores tomorrow should sort me out. did not realise it was that easy to get a hold of
