Ah, spot on mate, sounds like I got myself a decent body shop 5 minutes down the road then! Lets wait and see how it turns out first though, gonna make sure that price comes with a guarantee I think I will be heading to Knight Racer by the sounds of it, so might check it out. Will also still definitely be calling Ibrar, at least for a quote. Good thing about this place though is that they are refitting and balancing, and it just saves me the hassle, y'know?

Oh, forgot to say also - I'm factoring in accessibility to that price. This garage is 5 minutes down the road (I can walk home after!). The next closest is 35 minutes away, and would need to organize a lift home/lift back when finished

So today I went to one of the local garages, was suggested to me by a friend to try them for the alloy refurb. Had a quick chat to the chap who owns it and seemed to know what he was talking about (they always do..! haha). Got quoted £340 for all 4 alloys, fully refurbed, resprayed, re-fitted, and a wheel balance. He said it's going to cost a little more as they need to be shot-blasted. Does this sound about right to you guys? The alloys are in the condition of the attached (flaking around the centre, fair amount of curbing). Also, 'Knight Racer' seem to get good reviews from this forum, and seem a good price for stuff painted and fitted - am I correct? Cheers!

Just had to pop to the shops, and noticed the sound front the front again. It's definitely drivers side, and loudest when turning right - could also hear it briefly after I'd straightened up. Its only at speeds below 10mph. And it sounds like a scraping sound. I understand you guys can only guess, but any ideas? CV joints, track rod ends, any bearings, brakes?

Pretty certain she shouldn't be sounding like so: It's an N/A obviously, and the sound seems to be coming from somewhere right in the middle. Very specific, I know. The sound I'm talking about is the scratchy/clicky/metallicy sound, heard best in the background at the 0:13 mark This is when running warm. Best to listen in HD, everything becomes a scratchy sound in non-HD There is also a sound coming from the front when turning out of a space, for example. Sounds a bit like something is rubbing. Only seems to happen at slow speeds in 1st, and generally only when turning right. Anything I should check? She's going in for a full blown service in the next few weeks anyway, complete fluid change, new spark plugs, and a decent once over, so what should I mention to my mechanic to check specifically? ta

Might be heading to Torquay in the next few weeks myself in the Supra... 400 mile round trip, fully expecting it to be a £100 fuel cost (Would be literally half that if my Dad lets me borrow his German boat ) N/A 5 speed, averaged 23.6mpg on my last tank - no motorway driving, just my daily commute, with a 'couple' of 'spirited blasts' mixed in with that too

I'm fairly certain this isn't it - being 6ft3 and weighing a measily 77kg, I rarely get these problems Will have a look this weekend, this sounds like a possible culprit.
