  1. They're not colour coded. I could get some after market ones, or spray what I've got black... Just think it looks better without (as long as you don't like straight down it with a camera haha)
  2. On it as we speak. I have a tube full in the cupboard under the stairs.
  3. Recently got my alloys refurbished and resprayed at Speedwells (such a good job too!), and have decided to remove the centre caps... Question is, what do I put within the centre caps to cover the inside parts? I've painted the insides of the front alloys black, which looks fine, but the backs (as you can see if the pictures) just look a mess, and I'm a bit weary about just painting them black as the parts seem rather important? I've seen a number of Supras that dont have the centre caps, so was just wandering what they all do instead. Rears: Fronts: Please excuse the pictures, the flash really doesn't do ANY of it justice
  4. Why don't you aim to meet us at one of the services mate? There's a couple of quick pit stops planned already
  5. I think someone has too much in their fuel fund Haha, fair play though
  6. The small convoy that are heading up from the east/south east via M40 are stopping at the Oxford Services, where I'm going to join them... Will be there around 8:40 if anyone else is going that way/wants to join
  7. Good plan, let me know if you plan to stay on the motorway I eagerly await your message
  8. Yeah, that's the one. Very few Supras around these Oxford parts, so I have to tag along with other popular areas Will you guys stop off there briefly, or shall I take someones number who can then text me to let me know when you're passing the services, and I'll slip onto the motorway and catch you?
  9. Ok, looks like some calculations may be worthwhile then... I wouldnt necessarily be looking for crazy increases, 300hp sounded about what I would have expected anyway. Need to find out the exact specs of the turbo's.
  10. No no, I knew that the NA/TT meant an engine swap - I was just unsure if it was possible to fabricate a twin turbo system onto an NA engine. By the sounds of it so far, not so much Fair enough, will probably just stick to the original plan of saving up for a Whifbitz kit. Was merely hoping to save myself some money!
  11. Oxford services is literally where I join the M40 (pretty much)... Don't feel you have to though if its inconvenient
  12. Ah, fair enough. Knew there'd be some sort of limiting factor. Its a shame though! Might still buy it just to brake it and makes some money. Still interested about the above question re: stock turbo's.
  13. I'll join you midway if you throw an M40 services stop in there
  14. My best friends dad has a twin turbo manual Legacy GT (import), which I believe has the EJ20R engine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_EJ_engine#EJ20TT). Whether that matters much, who knows - I'm not using the engine, so not so much probably. He's offered me the whole car for £2000, as its currently off the road. He's recently had the engine itself rebuilt, new intercooler, and a couple of other bits, including some sort of big brake conversion. The reason its off the road is because the primary turbo is knackered - he's got a replacement which he said he'd give me if I were to buy. So my question is (I'm new to this whole mechanical side of things...) would it be possible to use the turbo system from this car for a NA/TT frankenstein kind of thing? I understand that I'd need to get some custom pipework done to be able to fit, as well as get a decent ECU mapped... Anything else that could become costly? The turbo's are whatever came as standard on the car. The primary turbo had the markings 'IHI RHF4', couldn't see the secondary turbo. The benefit is that by buying the whole car, that would allow me to break what I didn't need: rebuilt engine, shell, wheels, brakes, interior etc. etc. and could free up some funds to be able to pay for any custom pipework required/ECU mapping. Labour isn't an issue, I have my dad and a few friends who would be willing to help So what do you guys reckon? Is this a possibility, or something I should stop thinking about immediately? If anyone needs any more information, let me know!
  15. There's only a few going on the Sunday, there are a number of people driving up on Monday morning. That's what we're trying to organise - where to meet, where to stop for extra 'pick ups', and what times etc!
  16. Well the 'Mega Convoy' from The Falcon is leaving at 10am... if you wanted to head there first (its 15 minutes from Gaydon) I would suggest aiming to hit it at around 9:30/9:45?
  17. Sounds like a good plan, have some dedicated service stops Maybe stick up some approximate times?
  18. Nice one, you heading to The Falcon? In which case, you should be heading up around the same time as me, and I could join up with you somewhere
  19. If you're all going to be cruising up the M40, I could join up with you for the drive up as its only 15 minutes from my village I join at the Lewnkor Interchange usually, so you guys jump off the M40, 'pick me up' from the area just off the motorway, before sliding back up onto the M40? Don't mind meeting at a services if that's easier! More the merrier and whatnot I had planned to head an extra 15 minutes North from the Heritage to attend The Falcon (CV35 7HA) meet/convoy of approx. 80 Supra's... Would you guys be up for that? Thread located here if you hadn't seen it. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?294875-20th-anniversary-convoy-from-the-falcon It would mean getting to the Lewknor Interchange at approx. 8:45am. If you guys are leaving from Bluewater, it'd take you 1hr 30mins to get there i.e. Would mean leaving at 7:15am First image is my route, second image is the route from Bluewater. That's probably a lot earlier than you guys had intended, so feel free to tell me to sod off but I think the Falcon meet with the following convoy will be awesome! If it's too much hassle just for one extra Supra, no worries - either way, I'ma be on the M40 at 8:45am and might bump into you anyway
  20. I know what you mean, I really do - but where would one go to find a decent stock front bumper?! I saw one on eBay a couple weeks back (in silver too, actually!), but not seen one since. Not one worth buying anyway...
  21. It's... shabby, to say the least. The first picture attached shows the worst of the damage, but it also makes the rest of it look ok - it will need a number of other areas filled. Second picture give you an indication of the fitment. Would want it fitted properly so that it's at least relatively flush, y'know? In regards to full respray, I totally agree - I wouldn't actually want to go anywhere which quoted me less than £1800 to be honest!! Quick Edit: Sorry if I seem to be almost asking you for a quote, but you are being rather helpful!
  22. I appreciate the offer! Knight Racer are quoting me just over £500 for a Top Secret front bumper, sprayed and fitted... AD Panelcraft won't even give me an estimate over the phone for a front bumper refurb. How much you guys reckon I should be looking at for a full bumper refurb/respray/decent refit? Its an expensive trip for me to get to MK just to be quoted a silly price. Going to my local this evening and asking what they'd charge for it.
