  1. Either its a coupling not put on properly and probably leaking under pressure or its the fact its an XS power intercooler. You get what you pay for and the XS units are not known for quality, plenty of people run them but have nothing to compare a good Greddy or Blits or HKS unit with. Arc also make very good intercoolers.
  2. I was gonna get these but im not in the country.. not sure if any of you are intetrested... http://www.gumtree.com/london/08/13781308.html
  3. Err, yea F**k that. Id call them up and tell them to pick up their crap and refund me.
  4. Tony, Thats some patience you have.. Id have been pulling out my hair months ago! If I had seen this thread earlier Id have helped out a bit as I knew you would have issues with the tripple WOTM pump hanger and the inspection cover. Also I can see you dry wrapped your heat wrap on to the pipes and you did a good job but it still never quite looks as tight as when the pros do it. They never tell anyone this but you should take out all the wrap and bung it in a bucket of warm/hot water let it sit overnight and cool and in the morning fit it to the pipes. After fitting leave somewhere warm and the wrap tightens and leaves NO seams..
  5. thats a joke.. static HTM pages.. Id have done that from scratch in about a day and charged 500ish
  6. your first turbno does not stop an 4.5 revs.. If it does you have a serious problem. The supra running on twins goes from 1 turbo to both not one to another.... or you can run it in true twin and both come on together but there is a bit of spool time
  7. Spoke to Mikkel a few weeks back and one of his tuners who were just asking questions about the car. Love the fact he has continued to look after it.. My worst nightmare was to let it get smashed up after all the blood and tears.
  8. strip the laquer and hand polish them with autosol mate.. Its much cheaper and easier then getting them refurbed,.
  9. I love the T61's Unfortunatelly I ended up sitting in various cars running bigger and had to move on. Started with a 67 and ended up on a 72. After being in them the 61 felt fast but the grunt wasnt there.
  10. VVTI throttle bodies have a single grub screw for adjustment.. It works about 50% of the time but the ECU keeps trying to correct the idle rpm so 50% of the time it doesnt work. I played with mine years back (nightmare) raised the ide to 700RPM and all was good for about 5 starts then the ecu went mad and the idle was 5500 rpm.. I took me about a week of playing to get it where it originally was so Id say leave it ;-)
  11. wheel wobble is only apparent when braking if its due to warped discs
  12. possible you could have bearing wear in one of both hubs. this may be why you only feel this when the second turbo comes on line and they are under stress. Is it steadily getting worse?
  13. Exactly what I thought.. or even what Chris Wilson said but surely you would notice that on opening the bonnet !?
  14. which version of vista are you running.. Have a look at the in the SYSTEM area on control pannel at your ram.. Bet you it does not say 4GB of ram....
