  1. sorry had to delete thread becuase paperwork is still trading hands. Ill repost once its all clear. Sorry Mods.
  2. Mate tell your brother that DVLA have told me Im getting the new tax dic, MOT and other paperwork in the next 2 days (apparently) and the V5 will follow shortly. How on earth the DVLA take so long to do such a simple numberplate swap is really a mystery to me. This is the sort of thing that should take an hour or less these days.
  3. Haha. Not gonna happen bro, Ive had too many people copy my cars from top to bottom. DOnt fancy it happening again
  4. I just got a crazy deal on another one and put a deposit down on it a few days ago, went to see it today. Fully loaded same exact exterior Obsidian Black but blood red interior (my favorite). Also I have 7K in parts sitting ready to go on to it including some amazing wheels. Im looking forward to having it in my hands for the summer.
  5. Tomorrow morning 11 am so I can walk up to the bank with him and deposit the cash. Its going to be a duffle bag full by the sound of it! My local bank manager already thinks I'm the local mafia so this should now confirm to her that I am
  6. Haha. No The neighbours are gonna love him
  7. When he starts it up in the morning from cold he is gonna get a shock
  8. Haha. If and when I get the £ Ill consider it Your brother just got himself a hell of a good car.
  9. Reliability is very good. In the last 2 years Ive not had a single issue be it 30+ degrees outside or snowing. The ABC system had the pump fail within the first 6 months of me owning the car and I freaked out BUT its a common fault and the new pump installed was the revised unit and Ive not had a single issue with it since replacing. As most of you know I'm pretty anal about everything working so when ever anything needs replacing its done. If your at all concerned I suggest you take out a warranty (3rd party) I had one for 3 years and it only cost me £300 a year. The warranty covered 95% of the costs of the replacement ABC pump so it was well worth it. Roof is great. Needs lubricating every so often to stop it creaking but thats not a big deal at all and I have the flud which conly costs £30 and lasts for up to 10 lubrications.
  10. Evans is that you you old codger! Remember you were the one rocking the neon led lighting kits under the car while I was bolting on big singles. Hope your well old chap!
  11. I was checking out the Underground Racing Lambos a month ago at ther shop in FL. took me straight back to being 5 years old again.
  12. Hahaha. Im actually considering a Gallardo or a 997 turbo (which I can tune!) for the summer mate. I did have my eye on a GTR but I dont want to be upstaged by Jurgen and his speed rehab project.
  13. If you could hear this one on startup in the morning. Its unbelevable. Its had the 2 rear resonators and rear 2 cats removed. (they come with 4 cats) !?
  14. Many of you know me form when I had my supra and the extent I used to look after it. I am now seeling my second Mercedes SL55 AMG 52 plate. The entire car is immacualte and it has a few upgrades. Exhaust and cooling pumps. Covered 50,000 miles just and also had a full service. This car has EVERY conceivable extra including distronic. (cruise control that sticks on to thje back of cars in front and matches theis speed till they get our fo the way) Quite un nerving when you first use it. Im offering the car for £25,000 quick sale. No test drives or dreamers please. If your interested I'll take you out for a spin. PLEASE NOTE the photos have the old wheels. The new ones are exactly the same but have a gunmetal finish in the center.
  15. Oh my god. I just felt sick coming up the back of my throat. Which bandit crashed my baby...

Im not big on the shape of 360's. I had a Murcielago Roadster for 2 weeks in Miami and it was awesome but without a doubt the most unpractical car I have ever driven. Gallardos are much more daily driver friendly although they have near 0 luggage space.

There are a few 50,000 Mile + sl55's kicking around for that sort of money so you should have no problems. Im looking to get about 30 for mine. Im consdering a Gallardo and then putting twin turbos in to it. 've got the need to modify another car!

Hey.. The biggest issue on all Mercs 2002 - 2007 is the ABC suspension. Ive had to replace 1 shock during my ownership at £1,200 fitted and also the ABC pump which im pretty sure is also the Alternator.. I suggest if your interested in getting one you might want to consider the following. Buy yourself a warranty works platinum warranty for the first year (about £400) I did this and it saved me around £4500 during my first years ownership including the shock. Since replacing a few bits and pieces the car is now solid. I guess its realistic to put aside £1000 a year for servicing and parts. Whats your budget? Im actually thiking about selling mine funnily enough. Ive got my eye on a Bull.
  20. Ahh. I should have mentioned NEW and a pair not singles. But thanks for that anyway
