1. As this car is in southern Ireland am I right in thinking it would be subjected to the normal SVA check over or is it simply a drive it here get a V5 and an MOT job?
2. Loving the look of that VVTI block with the CF pieces. Well done
3. @DamanC Nice huracan performante, I bought my LP640 from GVE as well I'm in the same boat as you, moved on considerably (I think its been 13 years) but still miss my Supra a lot. I'm now in the position to buy one but then I need to find somewhere to put it and change out the cars a bit.
4. Well done @mawby I have been seeing issue on my iPhone using it though. Might be something to do with the safari browser.
5. Did you end up selling the car in the end? I recall seeing it on eBay a few months back.
6. Nope, I should have removed that some time ago. I've been in the V12 Italian exotic stable for a while. I currently have an F12 Berlinetta. Funnily enough proportion wise its very close to a Supra
7. Believe it or not I'm still here. Been lurking for a while considering a new build project.
8. yup its number 11 above (one for each side) I think I paid £25 each when I bought them which is why I listed them for £50, I'll cover the postage.
9. Found some brand new original TRD bushes in my storage room Part number 48725 - JA800 (X2) £50
10. Its this car In all honestly though, the Lambo is a nightmare and so unpractical. Also as the accelerator and brake are offset (not straight) my knee starts aching after 60 minutes in the seat.
11. Scooter, Ive been through a lot of motors since I left. SL55, SL65, Bentley GT, Porsche 997 Turbo, Ferrari 575M, Ferrari 599 GTB and now currently in a Murcielago LP640 but I still love a well tuned JDM
12. Hello lads! glad to see some of you still knocking about. I have been considering picking up or trying to get my hands on a low ish mileage VVTI 6 speed. I managed to cop a view at this car online (I think it was Jamie P's) and it isntantly got me thinking http://jm-imports.co.uk/index.php/1995-toyota-supra-rz-1000bhp-srd-built/
13. Been years since I was on here. Starting to get the itch for building a Supra and been having a discreet look around.
14. Oh I also forgot to add I'll throw in a full service just before its bought as well so your good to go..
15. Ill put some good photos up of the car when I get it properly cleaned and it stops raining. The last 2 weeks has been non stop! Impossible to take photos.
16. here is a photo of what the pace car looks like. But mine has red interior.
17. I have decided it's time to move on from Mercedes. (this is the second 55 AMG) I have owned and put up here for sale. Don't mistake this car for the one I sold here over a year ago. The car is a Black SL55 AMG Pace car edition. Full blood red interior and is basically spotless. It has the SL65 anthracite wheels and Kleeman headers worth £1750 ! as well as upgraded cooling system. I was going to stick a larger supercharger pulley on the car to gain 50+ BHP and have it tuned (circa £1000 cost) but never got around to it and I don't use it very much because I travel so much these days. The car has 30,500 miles and has had no expense spared on it. I'll get some photos up when the weather improves but this is a rare car and you won't find one with this sort of mileage at all. Thought I'd offer it up here before it goes to the masses on Piston heads. £29,000 FIRM. To give you an idea of the price I'm offering. This is the only car http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3791373.htm that comes anywhere near the spec of my car but its missing the panoramic roof and distronic which are the most expensive options to add to this car and they want 3K more.... Please PM me anyone interested in viewing the car. No dreamers.
18. I have been given 5 belts As pictured below. They are all nbrand new in the boxes and I'm looking to shift them all together really. I'm 90% sure they arent the real deal but telling the difference between the ones I have that are is near on impossible. All 5 Belts need to go for £150. I paid £250 and have had a change of heart as I really dont need them! Drop me a line if any of you are interested.
19. Nick is getting a lot of offers on the car so if any of you are interested I sugggest you arange to see the car ASAP.
20. My brother is selling his beloved Porsche 930 Turbo as he doesnt have the time to look after it any more. This car has amazing heritage as it was the porsche press car when it was released in 1982. THIS CAR WILL NEVER DEPRECIATE THEY ARE BECOMING VERY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER. This car would give a twin turbo supra a very hard time. its literally like driving a go cart on the streets. Crazy attention and always mobbed with enthusiasts when we return from parking it. The car has 98,000 Miles and needs a bit of work. The clutch needs replacing (new one supplied in a box upon purchase) Gearbox rebuild (syncro is a bit ropey in 1st and 3rd gear £1000 to get this work done and easy to do while replacing the clutch) Rear spoiler rubber is slightly perished and will need replacing down the line. All of the above work would cost around £1500 ish to get done and the car is good to go. The car is fitted with the following modifications. Zork tube (straight pipe from turbo) hope you like flames (original exhaust also with sale of car) Dump tube RUF wheels worth a complete FORTUNE Porsche RS door cards. Looking for offers around the 20K ONO mark.
21. I have just picked up a private plate that I'm thinking about selling. T8LD U - TOLD U I had it valued at £5,000 and would be willing to part with it for £3,000. If anyone on here knows anyone who wants it and you put them in touch with me and they buy it I'll give you a £500 kickback.
